2017

Outcome of urgent and elective percutaneous coronary interventions after pharmacologic reperfusion with tenecteplase combined with unfractionated hep…

2003

Item does not contain fulltext OBJECTIVES: The aim of this study was to evaluate percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in the Assessment of the Safety and Efficacy of New Thrombolytic Regimens (ASSENT-3) trial. BACKGROUND: In the ASSENT-3 trial, co-therapy with abciximab (ABC) or enoxaparin (ENOX) reduced ischemic complications after ST-elevation acute myocardial infarction treated with tenecteplase when compared with unfractionated heparin (UFH). The effect of these new co-therapies on the results of PCI is unknown. METHODS: Clinical outcomes in patients who received co-therapy with ABC, ENOX, or UFH and subsequently underwent an elective (n = 1,064) or urgent (n = 716) PCI in the ASSEN…

2018

Alberto Burri’s Grande Cretto. A most original interpretative hypothesis is proposed here with regard to the extraordinary masterpiece by Alberto Burri (1915-1995), that is to say, the brilliant Grande Cretto, located near Gibellina vecchia (old Gibellina), in Sicily. This work, borrowing from Land Art, constitutes a unicum on the world scale, in terms of its vast size and profound significance. Built in cement over the rubble of the old Sicilian town, devastated by the1968 earthquake, it comprises, at the same time, sculpture, architecture and urban-planning. From an initial reading of the most authoritative critics, therefore, we reinterpret it in accordance with the thinking of Martin He…

2015

The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the crucial role of legal science for the practical side of the law, while analyzing in detail the statutes' reform of Bergamo (1331). Indeed, the paper discusses the relationship between learned law and practical law during the period of ius commune through the analysis of some relevant quaestiones disputatae regarding criminal transactions. The author seeks to analyze the relationship between the ius puniendi of public -authorities and private autonomy in the resolution of criminal cases focusing not only on the Roman sources (C. 2,4,18) but also on the quaestiones ex facto emergentes contained in the collections of Alberto Gandino, Alberico da …
