Explicit solutions for second-order operator differential equations with two boundary-value conditions. II
1992
AbstractBoundary-value problems for second-order operator differential equations with two boundary-value conditions are studied for the case where the companion operator is similar to a block-diagonal operator. This case is strictly more general than the one treated in an earlier paper, and it provides explicit closed-form solutions of boundary-value problem in terms of data without increasing the dimension of the problem.

Asymptotic paths for subsolutions of quasilinear elliptic equations
1988
Letu be an entire lower semicontinuous subsolution to the quasilinear elliptic equation divA(x,∇u)=0 in ℝn. It is shown that ifu is not bounded above, then there exists a path going to infinity along whichu tends to infinity. The result extends works of Talpur, Fuglede, and others. Growth aspects of subsolutions are also studied.
Dido's problem in the plane for domains with fixed diameter
1994
We find the connected compact domains in the closed half-plane, with fixed area and diameter, which minimize the relative perimeter.
Presymplectic manifolds and conservation laws
2008
In this paper we make use of a new structure called seeded fibre bundle. This allows us to combine the symplectic formalism and general relativity. A theorem of existence is obtained and some examples and properties are studied.
Complete sets of logarithmic vector fields for integration-by-parts identities of Feynman integrals
2018
Integration-by-parts identities between loop integrals arise from the vanishing integration of total derivatives in dimensional regularization. Generic choices of total derivatives in the Baikov or parametric representations lead to identities which involve dimension shifts. These dimension shifts can be avoided by imposing a certain constraint on the total derivatives. The solutions of this constraint turn out to be a specific type of syzygies which correspond to logarithmic vector fields along the Gram determinant formed of the independent external and loop momenta. We present an explicit generating set of solutions in Baikov representation, valid for any number of loops and external mome…
A direct method to find solutions of some type of coupled Korteweg-de Vries equations using hyperelliptic functions of genus two
2008
Abstract We suggest how one can obtain exact solutions of some type of coupled Korteweg–de Vries equations by means of hyperelliptic functions of genus two.
Resurgent Deformation Quantisation
2013
We construct a version of the complex Heisenberg algebra based on the idea of endless analytic continuation. In particular, we exhibit an integral formula for the product of resurgent operators with algebraic singularities. This algebra would be large enough to capture quantum effects that escape ordinary formal deformation quantisation.
Locally tame plane polynomial automorphisms
2010
Abstract For automorphisms of a polynomial ring in two variables over a domain R , we show that local tameness implies global tameness provided that every 2-generated locally free R -module of rank 1 is free. We give examples illustrating this property.
