Employer Brand Role in HR Recruitment and Selection

Abstract This paper’s research focuses on employer brand (EB) development as a solution for public sector organizations to attract the young specialists of Latvia. The author uses monographic research method, selection, comparison, induction and statistical data interpretation to explore the situation and potential outcomes of the proposed approach to Human Resource Recruitment and Selection. The research results show that public organizations in Latvia still need to improve their positioning on labour market and work harder on their EB.

The standard separable 2-D wavelet transform (WT) has recently achieved a great success in image processing because it provides a sparse representation of smooth images. However, it fails to efficiently capture 1-D discontinuities, like edges or contours. The chemical characterization of the radionuclide species is essential for a reliable assessment of the migration of radionuclides and heavy metals into the geological and biological environment on the load pathway soil - plant - animal - human. Only a few is known about the speciation of uranium in plants. Therefore we investigate the change of speciation during the transfer of uranium from initial solution into plant. Jet mass and substructure of inclusive jets in $ \sqrt {s} = 7\;{\text{TeV}} $ pp collisions with the ATLAS experiment

Recent studies have highlighted the potential of jet substructure techniques to identify the hadronic decays of boosted heavy particles. These studies all rely upon the assumption that the internal substructure of jets generated by QCD radiation is well understood. In this article, this assumption is tested on an inclusive sample of jets recorded with the ATLAS detector in 2010, which corresponds to 35 pb-1 of pp collisions delivered by the LHC at √s = 7TeV. This study focuses on the impact of advancing Artificial Intelligence systems on management during the next decade. Much of the attention around Artificial Intelligence and work revolves around the replacement versus augmentation debate. According to previous literature, rather than simply replacing tasks, machine learning tools can complement human decision making. A New Feature Selection Methodology for K-mers Representation of DNA Sequences

DNA sequence decomposition into k-mers and their frequency counting, defines a mapping of a sequence into a numerical space by a numerical feature vector of fixed length. This simple process allows to compare sequences in an alignment free way, using common similarities and distance functions on the numerical codomain of the mapping. The most common used decomposition uses all the substrings of a fixed length k making the codomain of exponential dimension.
