In this study we investigated the salience of the construct of national collective identity and its associations with life satisfaction among adolescents living in transitional societies characterised by relevant change in the last decades. Participants were 1 066 adolescents (M = 15.35 years, SD = 1.35) from South Africa (n = 186) and five Central Eastern European countries, including Albania (n = 209), Bulgaria (n = 146), Czech Republic (n = 306), Kosovo (n = 116), and Romania (n = 103). We wstępnej części artykułu zostaną zaprezentowane kategorie OBCY, INNY oraz SWÓJ w różnych konfiguracjach (opozycja komplementarna, triada), obecnych w dyskursie tożsamościowym. Następnie przedstawione zostaną determinanty tożsamości: konfesja i język grupy mieszkańców Zelowa – potomków czeskich emigrantów religijnych. W końcowej części artykułu podkreśla się, że obraz potomków czeskich emigrantów jest zmienny w czasie: początkowo była to grupa homogeniczna pod względem wyznaniowym, etnicznym i językowym, a obecnie jest grupą zasymilowaną językowo i kulturowo.

As the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) celebrates its thirtieth anniversary, it is relevant to explore how understandings of children’s rights have appeared during these three decades. As a key public actor in society, the media provides an interesting field in which to study the salience of children’s rights in societal and public discussions. Thus, in this article, we examine how children’s views are represented in «Helsingin Sanomat», the main national newspaper of Finland, in 1997, 2007, and 2017. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the second quotation of the Euripidean fr. 964 N 2 in the De indolentia, a Galenic treatise recently saved from oblivion thanks to Antoine Pietrobelli, is in fact an interpolation due to the enterprise of a scribe. The argumentation is based on words coming immediately before and after the presumed quotation.

This PhD thesis examines Italian contemporary literary works (novels and short stories) in which dialect is used as a linguistic variety in combination with the national Italian idiom. The analysis is conducted through the works of four Italian writers, in which multilingualism is particularly significant: Andrea Camilleri, Salvatore Niffoi, Laura Pariani and Andrej Longo. In this article, we analyze a corpus made up of two general French-Italian and Italian-French bilingual dictionaries and two multilingual dictionaries. We take into account, in particular, the macrostructure, the microstructure, the technical terminology and the phraseology of these dictionaries. Aizaugošu palieņu zālāju atjaunošanās dabas parkā "Dvietes paliene" pļaušanas un ganīšanas ietekmē

Kopā kopš 2004. gada Latvijā ir atjaunoti vairāk nekā 7000 ha dabisko zālāju. Lielākā daļa no tiem atjaunoti dažādu projektu ietvaros. Bakalaura darbā skaidrots atjaunoto Dvietes palienes zālāju stāvoklis, inventarizējot zālājus dabā un veicot intervijas ar zālāju īpašniekiem. Pētījuma rezultātā noskaidrots, ka zālāju atjaunošanās Dvietes palienē norit veiksmīgi. Atslēgas vārdi: palieņu zālāji, Dvietes paliene, inventarizācija, intervijas, pašreizējais stāvoklis.

AbstractPhysiological responses to threat stimuli involve neural synchronized oscillations in cerebral networks with distinct organization properties. Community architecture within these networks and its dynamic adaptation could play a critical role in achieving optimal physiological responses.Here we applied dynamic network analyses to address the early phases of threat processing at the millisecond level, describing multi-frequency (theta and alpha) integration and basic reorganization properties (flexibility and clustering) that drive physiological responses.
