International audience; This paper aims to compare the educational outcomes of children of immigrants in France and in the US to understand the educational inequalities and opportunities for social mobility for the second generation in both countries. The comparison is focused on children from two groups: North Africans in France and Mexicans in the US. By using two longitudinal datasets, the French Educational Panel Survey and Add Health, we examine aspirations, expectations and attainment in secondary education in the two contexts. Extremely low-frequency magnetic fields and survival from childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia: an international follow-up study

A previous US study reported poorer survival in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) exposed to extremely low-frequency magnetic fields (ELF–MF) above 0.3 μT, but based on small numbers. Data from 3073 cases of childhood ALL were pooled from prospective studies conducted in Canada, Denmark, Germany, Japan, UK and US to determine death or relapse up to 10 years from diagnosis. Adjusting for known prognostic factors, we calculated hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) for overall survival and event-free survival for ELF–MF exposure categories and by 0.1 μT increases. The purpose of this article is to analyse the differnt civil process of the Civil Procedure Law that can be used for the recovery of illegally occupied properties: eviction for precarious, injunction to recover possession and action action for the protection of registered property rights. Special attention is paid to the new procedure of rapid recovery of possession that has been created by Law 5/2018 amending the classic injunction to regain possession.
Detection of cosmic filaments using the Candy model

We propose to apply a marked point process to automatically delineate filaments of the large-scale structure in redshift catalogues. We illustrate the feasibility of the idea on an example of simulated catalogues, describe the procedure, and characterize the results. We find the distribution of the length of the filaments, and suggest how to use this approach to obtain other statistical characteristics of filamentary networks.

The analysis of the evolution of the settlement requires a lot of methodological questioning. Despite a frequent use of the spatial analysis methods, few works return to their methodological problems. This article proposes to make a comparison and a discussion around two exploratory statistical methods (the K function of Ripley and the Kernel Density Estimation). It seems that scale, quality and quantity of input data, are three essential parameters to be taken into account so as to lead a spatial analysis in archaeology. Depuis une dizaine d'années, des analyses des systèmes complets de fonctions de demande ont été entreprises et développées, en particulier en Belgique, aux Etats-Unis et en Suisse. Les principaux travaux sont dus àA.P. BARTEN, H.S. HOUTHAKKER, L. PHLIPS, L. SOLARI, R. STONE, L.D. TAYLOR, D. WEISERBS.... Une bibliographie de ces études figure à la fin de ce document. Le fait qu'en France il n'existe actuellement que peu de travaux effectués à un niveau global, m'ont incitée à entreprendre une analyse théorique et pratique sur les systèmes complets de fonctions de demande, systèmes qui regroupent l'ensemble des consommations des ménages, à l'exception des biens collectifs et publics.
