The impact of a mesoscale convective system cold pool on the northward propagation of the intertropical discontinuity over West Africa

The interaction between a mesoscale convection system cold pool and the intertropical discontinuity (ITD) is investigated on two consecutive days (5 and 6 June 2006), in the framework of the African Monsoon Multidisciplinary Analysis Special Observing Period (SOP 1a). Satellite imagery and surface meteorological observations are used to track the movement of the ITD prior to and after its interaction with the cold pool. Gli autori riferiscono sui tipi e sui modelli di genesi dei carbonati dei suoli, attraverso l’uso degli isotopi del 13C. Lo studio è stato condotto in un’area dell’interno collinare argilloso siciliano, su suoli che evolvono sui depositi evaporitici della Serie Gessoso-Solfifera. Sono stati scelti cinque pedon su litotipi calcarei e non. I pedon sono stati descritti in campo e campionati secondo la sequenza degli orizzonti genetici; sui campioni di suolo sono state eseguite le seguenti analisi: tessitura, reazione, conducibilità elettrica, gesso, carbonio organico ed inorganico. Conférence en ligne; International audience; Cet article propose une analyse bibliométrique du champ des stratégies au bas de la pyramide (BoP). Différents outils sont mobilisés pour analyser et comprendre la structure du champ et, plus généralement, en identifier les différentes écoles de pensée. 364 articles citant issus de la plateforme Web of Science fournissent une base de 15 292 références. Six groupes structurant le champ émergent de nos analyses, chacun mettant en évidence une spécificité des stratégies BoP. Le mapping de ce réseau de recherches permet d'envisager de nombreuses pistes de recherche et confirme l'intérêt du BoP comme axe de recherche futur du management international.

Viele Datensaetze bestehen aus multivariaten Messungen, die an verschiedenen geographischen Orten durchgefuehrt wurden. Typischerweise besitzen solche Datensaetze die Eigenschaft, dass Messungen in unmittelbarer Naehe aehnlicher sind als Messungen, die eine hohe Entfernung aufweisen. In der statistischen Analyse solcher raeumlichen Daten sollte diese spezielle Eigenschaft beruecksichtigt werden. In letzter Zeit wurde in der statistischen Literatur die sogenannte Blind Source Separation Methode auf raeumliche Daten erweitert. The archaeological landscape of Mongolia is marked by the presence of numerous funerary monuments (khirigsuurs) and engraved stelae (deer stones), erected by nomadic populations at the end of the Bronze Age. The first observations indicate great regularity in the choice and arrangement of the architectural and iconographic elements at the time when these structures were built. This regularity suggests the existence of shared traditions and social coherence between nomadic communities in a territory covering almost twice that of France.
