Mobile advertising adoption has not been as rapid as it could have been, even though the techniques for its full exploitation have existed for years. Understanding consumers’ attitudes toward the phenomenon is crucial in order to enhance the situation. Prior reports suggest that affective effects in visual word processing cannot be fully explained by a dimensional perspective of emotions based on valence and arousal. In the current study, we focused on the contribution of approach and avoidance motivational systems that are related to different action components to the processing of emotional words. Computing bi-tangents for transmission belts

In this note, we determine the bi-tangents of two rotated ellipses, and we compute the coordinates of their points of tangency. For these purposes, we develop two approaches. The first one is an analytical approach in which we compute analytically the equations of the bi-tangents. This approach is valid only for some cases. The second one is geometrical and is based on the determination of the normal vector to the tangent line. This approach turns out to be more robust than the first one and is valid for any configuration of ellipses.

An integrated approach to the study of taxa of the genus Hypericum occurring in Sicily is proposed. The results of morphological, biochemical, and molecular analyses are combined to better assess the relationships between the species investigated and test the suitability of DNA barcoding technique in the discrimination of these taxa. For the name Hypericum aegypticum subsp. webbii (Spach) N. Robson a lectotype is designated. For Hypericum triquetrifolium Turra a lectotype and a supporting epitype are designated.
