Maģistra darbs “Ģeoradara izmantošana asfaltbetona segas porainības noteikšanā” veltīts radiolokācijas metodikas attīstīšanai asfaltbetona porainības un biezuma pētīšanai ar ģeoradaru. Līdzšinējos pētījumos maz uzmanība pievērsta ceļu būvē izmantoto materiālu elektromagnētiskajām īpašībām, kas sarežģī ģeoradara pielietošanu ceļa veidojošo kārtu biezuma un porainības mērījumos. Minētais nosaka pētījuma aktualitāti. Pētījumā tiek sniegts pētījumu teorijas apraksts, izmantoto radiolokācijas un ģeoloģisko pētījumu, laboratorijas analīžu, radiolokācijas ierakstu apraksts un to interpretācija. Tutkimus pyrkii kuvaamaan suomalaisen yhteiskunnan suhdetta kartelliin viranomaistoiminnan ja talouden säätelyn näkökulmasta. Empiirinen tutkimus perustuu Kilpailuviraston esitykseen Markkinaoikeudelle, jossa asfalttialan yritysten todistetaan osallistuneen kartelliin. Tutkimus on tehty adaptiivisen tutkimusmetodin hengessä siten että aineiston analyysiä on kehitelty vuoropuhelussa teoreettisen viitekehyksen kanssa. Suomalaisen yhteiskunnan suhtautuminen kartelleihin on poikennut valtavasti eri aikoina. Täydestä kartellivapaudesta on siirrytty rajoitusten ja valvonnan kautta täyskieltoon. Maģistra darba tēma “Asfaltbetona rūpnīcas modernizācijas projekts”. Reciklētā asfalta pielietošana jaunu asfaltbetona maisījumu ražošanā visā pasaulē pieaug, taču Latvija reciklētā asfalta izmantošanas ziņā ir krietni iepalikusi no Rietumeiropas un Amerikas. Pētījuma mērķis ir veicināt asfaltbetona maisījuma ražošanas efektivitātes pieaugumu Latvijā. Autors pētījumā izvirza konkrēto problēmu - reciklētā asfalta neefektīva atkārtota izmantošana. Problēmas risinājumu autors piedāvā projekta veidā. Rezultātā autors izstrādā projekta “Asfaltbetona rūpnīcas modernizācijas projekts” rokasgrāmatu.
