The article proposes a reflection on the topic of authenticity with reference to digital solutions developed for cultural heritage. After a brief theoretical review on digital authenticity, the article analyzes as a case study an application for mobile devices, which offers augmented reality content and digital reconstructions of spaces, monuments and activities of the Roman city of Tarraco (Tarragona), included by UNESCO in the World Heritage List. The research conducted according to a qualitative methodology returns evidence of the centrality of authenticity in the tourist experience and in the strategies aimed at fostering the attractiveness of places.

Profili di personalità e motivazioni associati all’uso di mobile games di realtà aumentata
In questo lavoro è descritta una revisione sistematica di 26 studi empirici che, negli ultimi 10 anni (2009-2019), hanno esplorato le motivazioni associate all’uso di giochi mobili di realtà aumentata (i.e., Pokèmon GO) e la personalità degli utenti. Considerato il crescente sviluppo tecnologico di giochi che coniugano l’Intelligenza Artificiale con la Realtà Aumentata, i risultati qualitativi presentati nel presente articolo possono configurarsi come utili criteri di segmentazione del mercato potenziale dei clienti di giochi basati su tecnologia mobile.

The latest business reports showed that Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are ranked among the top 10 strategic trends for 2018. For these reasons, in this paper, we provide an interdisciplinary focus on design and personality issues, trying to discuss the interplay between games with personality and Artificial Intelligence. PURPOSE The aim of the study was an evaluation of risk factors for an innovative bone regeneration technique using a customized titanium mesh that was tested in a clinical setting. MATERIALS AND METHODS This retrospective study included 65 patients with 70 grafting procedures of osseous defects of the jaws with a customized titanium mesh together with Advanced- and Injectable-Platelet-Rich Fibrin (A- and I-PRF), resorbable membranes, and bone grafting materials. Influence of the Use of a Collagen Membrane Placed on the Bone Window after Sinus Floor Augmentation—An Experimental Study in Rabbits

Background: We studied the influence on healing of a resorbable membrane covering the osteotomy site after maxillary sinus grafting, evaluated in different regions of the augmented area. Methods: Maxillary sinus augmentation was performed in 24 New Zealand rabbits. Osteotomy, 4 × 6 mm, were performed bilaterally. A collagenated cortico-cancellous porcine bone was used to fill the elevated region. A collagen membrane was randomly placed over the osteotomy site on one side (MG), and the other side was left uncovered (NMG). The animals were euthanized after 2, 4, and 8 weeks
