The ascending midbrain 5-HT neurons known to contain 5-HT1A autoreceptors may be dysregulated in depression due to a reduced trophic support. New findings show existence of FGFR1-5-HT1A heteroreceptor complexes in the rat hippocampus with a partial characterization of their interface and in midbrain raphe 5-HT nerve cells. Candida albicans ATCC 26555 blastoconidia and blastoconidia bearing germ tubes were metabolically labelled by incubating the cells with 14C-labelled protein hydrolysate and were subsequently tagged with biotin. Double-labelled (radioactive and biotinylated) cell wall proteins and glycoproteins were extracted from intact cells of both growth forms by treatment with 2-mercaptoethanol (beta ME) and with beta-glucanases (Zymolyase) after treatment with beta ME. Šajā darbā tiek pētīta 1934. gada 15. maija valsts apvērsuma rezultātā radušās autoritatīvās valsts pārvaldes formas radītās pārmaiņas, to iespējamā nepieciešamība un tiesiskais pamatojums. Tiek secināts, ka Kārļa Ulmaņa un viņa līdzgaitnieku darbībai apvērsumā nebija tiesiska pamatojuma un tā bija krimināli sodāma saskaņā ar 1933. gada 24. aprīļa Soda likumu. Aims:  The aim of the study was to characterize the effect of various nitrogen sources on Oenococcus oeni growth, carbon source utilization, extracellular protease activity and extracellular proteins. More generally, the goal is to understand how nitrogen-based additives might act to enhance malolactic fermentation in wine. Methods and Results:  Five yeast extracts were used. As the amino acid and nitrogen analyses revealed, they were similar in global amino acid composition, except for arginine level.
