Abstract Models have traditionally played a significant role in statistical mechanics. In view of the complexity of the system which statistical mechanics attempt to describe, this is not at all surprising. The study of simplified models has frequently revealed the underlying mathematical structure of many physical questions and in so doing the study of models has contributed directly to a clarification of several paradoxes which beset statistical mechanics. In this paper some of the models which appear to be useful for the discussion of non-equilibrium phenomena are examined in some detail. Bei einer 38jahrigen Patientin entwickelte sich ein Pseudo-Bartter-Syndrom mit hypokaliamischer Alkalose, Hyponatriamie und Hyperreninamie infolge eines mehr als 10jahrigen Abusus von Diuretika (Furosemid, Spironolacton, Thiabutazid). Resum: Aquest treball preten emfatitzar l’erronia identitat que ha arribat fins als nostres dies de Lucrecia Borja i l’equivocada atribucio que se n’ha fet d’alguns retrats. Com ara, la pintura de Flora (c.1520), pintada per Bartolomeo Veneto, que ha passat a la historia com una indissoluble identificacio de Lucrecia. Els estudis actuals han demostrat que representa un model ideal influit pel context literari probablement relacionat amb Pietro Bembo. Durant el Renaixement, els retrats representen molt mes que una identitat concreta i mimetica.
