Human traffickers frequently take advantage of operative protocols that make them unpunishable pursuant the Italian Criminal Law because according to Art. 6 of the Italian Penal Code and International Convention on the High Sea jurisdictional powers cannot be exercised when the conduct is committed on the High Sea. So illustrating the territorial limitations of the efficacy of Criminal Law the research focuses on the hermeneutical solution given by the Court of Cassation that apparently with the intent of pursuing a more effectivity of the Criminal response recurred to the controversial category of the indirect offender in order to sanction smuggling conducts that enjoy the rescue intervention of the Italian authorities to reach their criminal aims. In turn in order to better identify the Italian jurisdiction in the crime of Art. 12 T.U. imm. I propose to correctly apply the concorso di persone (art. 110 c.p.) and the reato eventualmente permanente. Lewis acid-catalyzed Beckmann rearrangement of ketoximes in ionic liquids

Abstract The Beckmann rearrangement of five ketoximes was done in 17 different ionic liquids by using four Lewis acids. The effect of the type of cation and the type of anion in the ionic liquid on the rate of the rearrangement reaction and product composition is compared and discussed. The effects of the hydrophobicity and the hydrogen bonding ability of ionic liquids on the rearrangement of ketoximes were investigated, as well as the catalytical activity of the Lewis acids.

Rationale: Oxidative stress is involved in airway inflammatory diseases. Inhaled-corticosteroids reduce airway inflammation and the combination with long-acting β2 agonists enhances this effect. Objective: to investigate whether Cigarette smoke extracts (CSE) and Interleukin-17A (IL-17A) activate airway epithelial cells to release markers of oxidative/nitrosative stress and to investigate the effect of beclomethasone dipropionate (BDP) and formoterol. Nel romanzo breve "Sogno di un valzer" uscito a puntate su “Quadrivio”, dal 5 giugno al 14 agosto 1938, Vitaliano Brancati mette in scena, tra osservazione dei luoghi e rilevamento di costume, un’umanità fuori misura, continuamente in bilico tra realtà e sogno. In the short novel "Sogno di un valzer" published on "Quadrivio" from 5 June to 14 August 1938 Vitaliano Brancati enacts between observation of places and survey of customs a world beyond measure constantly hovering between reality and dream. In Caltanissetta (Nissa) the city in which the writer is the magistral institute turned his back on fascist Rome he came to teach unobtrusive insignificant characters who nevertheless covet desires racking their brains in metaphysical questions. Thus the leitmotiv of the critics of pirandellism takes shape which often with subtle irony emerges in the Brancatian writings. The essay shows how it intertwines with the sulphurous comedy of the writer of Don Giovanni in Sicilia who tracing a particular topography of the island supported by inner relief leads his analysis of eccentric behaviors and of the aberrations of the mind in which the trivialized Pirandellian thought ends to become an explosive element.

Investigation of the Thermoelectric Properties of the Series TiCo1-xNixSnxSb1-x

The effect of the simultaneous substitution of cobalt by nickel and antimony by tin in the solid solution TiCo1–xNixSnxSb1–x was systematically investigated. The number of valence electrons does not change by this substitution and therefore the resistivity stays semimetallic or semiconducting. The series were synthesized by arcmelting and the thermoelectric properties were determined. It was found out that the substitution of cobalt and antimony by nickel and tin reduces the thermal conductivity to 2 W·m–1·K–1 at 400 K.
