This doctoral thesis aims at assessing the impact of the decolonisation process on the population of Besançon. The study of an urban community involves taking an interest in various historiographical fields (such as the political and cultural history of both colonisation and decolonisation, as well as the Cold War). From a people's history perspective, our purpose is to grasp how people experienced decolonisation (how they understood, felt, thought, acted). This research covers the period from 1945 up to the 1960s. Hausdorff measures, Hölder continuous maps and self-similar fractals

Let f: A → ℝn be Hölder continuous with exponent α, 0 < α ≼ 1, where A ⊂ ℝm has finite m-dimensional Lebesgue measure. Then, as is easy to see and well-known, the s-dimensional Hausdorif measure HS(fA) is finite for s = m/α. Many fractal-type sets fA also have positive Hs measure. This is so for example if m = 1 and f is a natural parametrization of the Koch snow flake curve in ℝ2. Then s = log 4/log 3 and α = log 3/log 4. A Lebesgue-type decomposition for non-positive sesquilinear forms

A Lebesgue-type decomposition of a (non necessarily non-negative) sesquilinear form with respect to a non-negative one is studied. This decomposition consists of a sum of three parts: two are dominated by an absolutely continuous form and a singular non-negative one, respectively, and the latter is majorized by the product of an absolutely continuous and a singular non-negative forms. The Lebesgue decomposition of a complex measure is given as application.

On the Coincidence of the Feedback Nash and Stackelberg Equilibria in Economic Applications of Differential Games

In this paper the scope of the applicability of the Stackelberg equilibrium concept in differential games is investigated. Firstly, conditions for obtaining the coincidence between the Stackelberg and Nash equilibria are defined in terms of the instantaneous pay-off function and the state equation of the game. Secondly, it is showed that for a class of differential games with state-interdependence both equilibria are identical independently of the player being the leader of the game. Population Games with Vector Payoff and Approachability

This paper studies population games with vector payoffs. It provides a new perspective on approachability based on mean-field game theory. The model involves a Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation which describes the best-response of every player given the population distribution and an advection equation, capturing the macroscopic evolution of average payoffs if every player plays its best response.

HERMES (High Energy Rapid Modular Ensemble of Satellites) Technological and Scientific pathfinder is a space borne mission based on a LEO constellation of nano-satellites. The 3U CubeSat buses host new miniaturized detectors to probe the temporal emission of bright high-energy transients such as Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs). Fast transient localization, in a field of view of several steradians and with arcmin-level accuracy, is gained by comparing time delays among the same event detection epochs occurred on at least 3 nano-satellites. This exploratory pilot study shows that NGO's involved in Children Advocacy through Arts in Africa are willing to use a groupware, meaning a computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL) environment. The design, integration, testing, and launch of the first Finnish satellite Aalto-1 is briefly presented in this paper. Aalto-1, a three-unit CubeSat, launched into Sun-synchronous polar orbit at an altitude of approximately 500 km, is operational since June 2017. It carries three experimental payloads: Aalto Spectral Imager (AaSI), Radiation Monitor (RADMON), and Electrostatic Plasma Brake (EPB).
