A fuzzification of the category of M-valued L-topological spaces
2004
[EN] A fuzzy category is a certain superstructure over an ordinary category in which ”potential” objects and ”potential” morphisms could be such to a certain degree. The aim of this paper is to introduce a fuzzy category FTOP(L,M) extending the category TOP(L,M) of M-valued L- topological spaces which in its turn is an extension of the category TOP(L) of L-fuzzy topological spaces in Kubiak-Sostak’s sense. Basic properties of the fuzzy category FTOP(L,M) and its objects are studied.
Bipullbacks of fractions and the snail lemma
2017
Abstract We establish conditions giving the existence of bipullbacks in bicategories of fractions. We apply our results to construct a π 0 - π 1 exact sequence associated with a fractor between groupoids internal to a pointed exact category.
Coordinates for quasi-Fuchsian punctured torus space
1998
We consider complex Fenchel-Nielsen coordinates on the quasi-Fuchsian space of punctured tori. These coordinates arise from a generalisation of Kra's plumbing construction and are related to earthquakes on Teichmueller space. They also allow us to interpolate between two coordinate systems on Teichmueller space, namely the classical Fuchsian space with Fenchel-Nielsen coordinates and the Maskit embedding. We also show how they relate to the pleating coordinates of Keen and Series.
Unicity of biproportion
1994
International audience; The biproportion of S on margins of M is called the intern composition law, K: (S,M) -> X = K(S,M) / X = A S B. A and B are diagonal matrices, algorithmically computed, providing the respect of margins of M. Biproportion is an empirical concept. In this paper, the author shows that any algorithm used to compute a biproportion leads to the me result. Then the concept is unique and no longer empirical. Some special properties are also indicated.
Synthesis, spectroscopic studies (Mössbauer and infrared), and the crystal and molecular structure of the organotin(IV)-pyrazine adducts [Sn(CH3)2Cl2…
1987
Two adducts [Sn(CH 3 ) 2 Cl 2 ] 2 pyz ( Ia ) and Sn- (CH 3 ) 2 Br 2 pyz] ( Ib ) (pyz = pyrazine) have been synthesized and characterized in the solid state. Infrared and Mossbauer spectroscopies suggest a five- coordinated species for the Ia complex with an angular CSnC bond and a six-coordinated compound with a linear CSnC bond for the Ib complex. X-ray diffraction studies confirm a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry with N, Cl axial atoms and Cl and methyls in the equatorial plane for Ia where the Cl ax SnN bond angle is the lowest one reported to date and the Cl eq Sn bond distance the longest one with regard to similar complexes. This molecule has a short contact of 3.47 A b…
A novel octacyanido dicobalt(iii) building block for the construction of heterometallic compounds
2019
The first bimetallic octacyanido complex of CoIII, (PPh4)2[Co2(μ-2,5-dpp)(CN)8] (1), was synthesized and used as a metalloligand with [Mn(MAC)(H2O)2]Cl2·4H2O to give a new {CoIIIMnII} heterometallic chain of formula [MnII(MAC)(μ-NC)2Co2III(μ-2,5-dpp)(CN)6]n·7nH2O (2) (PPh4+ = tetraphenylphosphonium cation; 2,5-dpp = 2,5-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine and MAC = 2,13-dimethyl-3,6,9,12,18-pentaazabicyclo-[12.3.1]octadeca-1(18),2,12,14,16-pentaene). Both compounds were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 contains a diamagnetic 2,5-dpp-bridged dicobalt(III) unit with four peripheral cyanide ligands at each cobalt center achieving a six-coordinate surrounding, the electroneutral…
Solid state polymerization causing transition to a ferromagnetic state. Crystal structures and magnetic properties of [Cu2(dpp)(H2O)(dmso)Cl4]·dmso a…
2001
The preparation, crystal structures and variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility data for [Cu2(dpp)(H2O)(dmso)Cl4]·dmso (1a) and [Cu2(dpp)Cl4]n (2) (dpp = 2,3-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine, dmso = dimethyl sulfoxide) are reported. 1a consists of dinuclear dpp-bridged molecules with chlorine, water and dmso serving as terminal ligands. The two copper atoms are crystallographically independent, with distorted square pyramidal and trigonal bipyramidal coordination geometries, respectively. In a first approximation 2 may be described as a chain compound with out-of-plane mono-μ-chloro bridges (Cu–Cl–Cu–Cl). Only one of the crystallographically independent copper atoms participates in this chain fo…
Novel ruthenium methylcyclopentadienyl complex bearing a bipyridine perfluorinated ligand shows strong activity towards colorectal cancer cells
2017
Three new compounds have been synthesized and completely characterized by analytical and spectroscopic techniques. The new bipyridine-perfluorinated ligand L1 and the new organometallic complex [Ru(η 5 -MeCp)(PPh 3 ) 2 Cl] (Ru1) crystalize in the centrosymmetric triclinic space group P1¯. Analysis of the phenotypic effects induced by both organometallic complexes Ru1 and [Ru(η 5 -MeCp)(PPh 3 )(L1)][CF 3 SO 3 ] (Ru2), on human colorectal cancer cells (SW480 and RKO) survival, showed that Ru2 has a potent anti-proliferative activity, 4–6 times higher than cisplatin, and induce apoptosis in these cells. Data obtained in a noncancerous cell line derived from normal colon epithelial cells (NCM46…
Triorganotin(IV) derivatives of 7-amino-2-(methylthio)[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-6-carboxylic acid. Synthesis, spectroscopic characterization, …
2010
Triorganotin(IV) complexes of the 7-amino-2-(methylthio)[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-6-carboxylic acid (HL), Me 3 SnL(H 2 O), ( 1 ), [ n -Bu 3 SnL] 2 (H 2 O), ( 2 ), Ph 3 SnL(MeOH), ( 3 ), were synthesized by reacting the amino acid with organotin(IV) hydroxides or oxides in refluxing methanol. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, 1 H, 13 C and 119 Sn NMR, IR, Raman and 119 Sn Mossbauer spectroscopic techniques. Single crystal X-ray diffraction data were obtained for compounds ( 2 ) and ( 3 ). Ph 3 SnL(MeOH) presents a trigonal bipyramidal structure with the organic groups on the equatorial plane and the axial positions occupied by a ligand molecule, coordinated …
Optimization of large-volume injection for the determination of polychlorinated biphenyls in children's fast-food menus by low-resolution mass spectr…
2008
International audience; This study includes the determination of five indicator polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) (52, 101, 153, 138, and 180), six non-ortho PCBs (35, 80, 81, 77, 126, and 169), and two mono-ortho PCBs (28 and 118) in fast food for children. A freeze-dried sample of 10 g is extracted by using pressurized n-hexane in two 5 min cycles at 120 degrees C and 100 mbar. Fatty extracts were cleaned up by means of acetonitrile/n-hexane partitioning and gel-permeation chromatography. The fractionation of non-ortho, mono-ortho, and indicator PCBs was made on graphitized carbon solid-phase extraction cartridges by using n-hexane, n-hexane/toluene (99:1, v/v), and toluene as elution solv…
