This chapter explores how bisexual women’s family relationships and friendship circles unravel after a relationship breakup. It intervenes at the conjunction of three under-researched areas: bisexual people’s relationships, LGBTIQA+ separations, and social networks after relationship breakups. The becoming of social or friendship circles after a bisexual relationship breakup is approached through the Deleuzo-Guattarian concept of assemblages, where multiple and complex elements come together, connecting in various ways and taking various forms. Biological invasions, specifically human-induced dispersals, are one of the major threats to our biodiversity and are predicted to increase. Invasive pests provide an opportunity to study whether adaptation to human-induced environments could promote invasions to other human-induced environments. One major anthropogenic selection pressure is created by pesticides, and pests can be exposed to various pesticides in their native, as well as introduced, ranges. The research concerns the analysis of structural behaviour of some historic-monumental buildings in which steel structures are used for the seismic protection. A dynamic model has been made to individuate the macro-element with an high seismic risk, that is, for church studied, the drum-dome system. Then a scaled model has been tested to determinate the evolution of the lesions, the retrofitting works, that are constituted by steel frames, bare or braced, inserted inside door/window holes of the drum-dome system, and the variation structural ductility. Crystal structure and Hirshfeld surface analysis of [N(CH3)4][2,2′-Fe(1,7-closo-C2B9H11)2]

Abstract This work investigates the meta -ferrabis(dicarbollide) anion that was isolated as salt of tetramethylammonium. The structure of the obtained crystal consisted of discrete [2,2′-Fe(1,7- closo -C 2 B 9 H 11 ) 2 ] − anions and disordered [N(CH 3 ) 4 ] + cations. The anion had a considerable chemical stability ensured by ionic and Van der Waals interactions. Thus, Hirshfeld surfaces and fingerprint plot were used to visualize, explore, and quantify intermolecular interactions in the crystal lattice of the title compound. This investigation proved that close contacts were dominated by H⋯H interactions.

Latvijā dabisko zālāju izplatība ir vērtējama kā ļoti maza, jo tie veido aptuveni 0,7% no valsts kopējās teritorijas. Mūsdienās meža cūku rakumu sastopamība apsaimniekotos un neapsaimniekotos dabiskos zālājos ir viens no aktuāliem jautājumiem dabisko zālāju aizsardzības stāvokļa novērtēšanā, jo meža cūku rakumi ietekmē vairākas zemnieku saimniecības, apgrūtinot apsaimniekotājiem zāles novākšanu un samazinot kvalitāti lopbarībai lauksaimniecības teritorijās. Turklāt neapsaimniekotos zālājos meža cūku rakumi samazina zālāja atjaunošanas potenciālu, tādējādi samazinot biotopa atjaunošanās efektivitāti un apsaimniekošanas uzsākšanu. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot dabisko zālāju lakstaugu sugu daudzveidības telpisko rakstu un indikatorsugu izmantošanas iespējas sugu daudzveidības indicēšanā. Darbā sniegts neliels ieskats par Latvijas dabisko zālāju biotopu daudzveidību un dabisko zālāju indikatorsugām. Pieejamiem veģetācijas datiem tika novērtēta datu kvalitāte un pierādīts, ka sugu daudzveidības datu kvalitāti ietekmē ekspertu faktors. No pieejamiem veģetācijas aprakstiem izveidota mēreni mitro dabisko zālāju lakstaugu sugu daudzveidības karte un raksturotas reģionālās īpašības.
