The estimation of biophysical variables from remote sensing data raises important challenges in terms of the acquisition technology and its limitations. Laima slimība ir visizplatītākā ar vektoriem pārnēsātā slimība Amerikas Savienotajās Valstīs. Neraugoties uz tās plašo izplatību un smagajiem slimības simptomiem, pret to vēl aizvien nav pieejama vakcīna. Darba mērķis bija ekspresēt Laima slimības izraisītājas, baktērijas (Borrelia burgdorferi), ar membrānu saistīto lipoproteīnu BBP28 un noteikt tā struktūru. Izmantojot KMR datus, tika aprēķinātas divas BBP28 proteīna struktūras - viena pilna garuma un otra saīsinātai proteīna sekvencei, kas nesatur nestrukturēto 27 aa garo N gala segmentu. Since the cause and nature of consciousness and its derivation from the universe have never been satisfactorily explained by conventional reductive science, I offer here a rationally imaginative basis for a new scientific paradigm. This new view not only explains the origin of the physical universe, but also that potential consciousness, time, mass/energy and infinite holographic information are rooted in original spin momentum of unconditioned pre-cosmic (empty) space (see appendix) – the absolute source of all relative phenomenal existence.
Response of the PCB-contaminated soil bacterial community to applied bioremediation treatments

For full field implementation of the bioremediation as a strategy for cleaning PCB-contaminated soils, the impact of the applied treatment on the microbial community needs to be clarified. An ideal bioremediation should have positive effects on PCB-removal but should pose no treats to the health of the soil ecosystem. Oil spills pose serious threats to the legitimacy of the companies involved and the oil industry in general. The objective of this study is to conduct research on the communication strategies used by ‘British Petroleum’ (BP) to maintain its legitimacy before the Deepwater Horizon (DH) oil spill caused in April 2010 and to repair its legitimacy after the DH accident. There is existing literature on the legitimacy theory and the communication strategies as well as DH accident and its causes.
