Background: Thus far there have been no specific patient-reported outcome instrument in Finnish for health-related quality of life (HRQoL) assessment after major lower extremity amputation and successful prosthesis fitting. Methods: The prosthesis evaluation questionnaire (PEQ) was translated and cross-culturally adapted into Finnish. Participants completed a questionnaire package including the Finnish version of the PEQ and the 15 D HRQoL instrument. Aim To study the reliability and validity of the Carers of Older People in Europe (COPE) Index among caregivers of disabled people of different ages. Methods A cross-sectional design of Finnish caregivers (n = 1117). Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was performed separately on samples of three different age groups, and the internal consistencies of the subscales were investigated. Results Three factors were identified; Cronbach's alpha was 0.83–0.86 for negative impact and 0.77–0.78 for quality of support, indicating good internal consistency. Il corale matalizio "Vom Himmel hoch da komm ich her" (Dall'alto dei cieli io giungo) è stato realizzato da Martin Lutero sulla base della melodia popolare "Ich komm aus fremden Landen her" e fu pubblicato per la prima volta a Wittenberg nel 1535. Assai diffuso in tutta l'area culturale tedesca, questo brano è stato ripreso, tra gli altri, anche da J.S. Bach, sia nel "Weinachts-Oratorium" BWV 248 che nelle "Canonische Veraenderungen" per organo BWV 796 e 796a. Il "Canticum" era stato realizzato su commissione del Festival delle Biennale e costituisce un esempio dell'approccio del compositore alla tecnica dodecafonica.
