Tetrazola analīzes izmantošana orhideju un ziemciešu dzimtas augu sēklu dzīvotspējas noteikšanai

Sēklu ar nediferencēto embriju (putekļveida) dzīvotspējas noteikšanu apgrūtina mazs sēklu izmērs un sēklu dīgšanas atkarība no simbiotiskajiem mikroorganismiem. Darba mērķis bija pielāgot tetrazola analīzes metodi dažādu sugu sēklu, ar nepilnīgi attīstīto embriju, dzīvotspējas noteikšanai. Atbilstoši darba mērķim, uzdevumi bija: noteikt atsevišķu orhideju dzimtas un ēriku dzimtas ziemciešu apakšdzimtas sugu augu sēklu dzīvotspēju ar tetrazolija hlorīda metodi, pārbaudīt saharozes ietekmi uz pārbau-dāmo sēklu metabolisma aktivāciju pirms tetrazolija testa veikšanas un noteikt sēklu dīgtspēju in vitro apstākļos. Nekustamā īpašuma atsavināšanas sabiedrības vajadzībām tiesiskā regulējuma saturs, tā piemērošana realizējot “Rail Baltica” projektu

Latvijā ir paredzēts veikt valsts vēsturē lielāko nekustamo īpašumu atsavināšanu. Tās mērķis ir nodrošināt dzelzceļa līnijas “Rail Baltica” izbūvi Latvijas teritorijā. Pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt tiesības uz īpašumu aizsardzību, kritērijus, kas pieļauj aizsardzības izņēmumus. Kā arī analizēt šobrīd pastāvošā nekustamā īpašuma atsavināšanas tiesiskā regulējuma efektivitāti, aplūkojot to kopsakarā ar nekustamo īpašumu atsavināšanu “Rail Baltica” projekta vajadzībām. Iegūtie rezultāti norāda uz nepietiekami efektīvu pašreizējo tiesisko regulējumu. Pētījumā ir identificēti tā trūkumi un sniegti priekšlikumi par nepieciešamajiem grozījumiem tiesību aktos.

Precipitation pattern in the Baltic countries under the influence of large-scale atmospheric circulation and local landscape factors

The main objectives of the study are to analyse the mean precipitation pattern in the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) and the influence of local landscape factors on it, to derive a regionalization, i.e. select regions having coherent fluctuations in precipitation, and to analyse relationships between precipitation and characteristics of the large-scale atmospheric circulation. Monthly precipitation data from 123 stations in the Baltic countries from 1966 to 2005 are analysed in relation to 52 landscape variables and 13 circulation variables. Trepostomate bryozoans from the upper Katian (Upper Ordovician) of Morocco: gigantism in high latitude Gondwana platforms.

AbstractA study of the Upper Ordovician trepostomate bryozoans belonging to the families Amplexoporidae and Monticuliporidae, from the eastern Anti-Atlas of Morocco, is presented here. They occur in the marly to fine-grained limestone, intermediate unit of the Khabt-el-Hajar Formation, late Katian in age, representing outer-ramp depositional environments. They inhabited the highest paleolatitude known for a bryozoan fauna during the Ordovician, estimated at more than 65–70ºS. Investigating the ecology of Chara cf. baltica (Characeae) in the Lago Preola ecosystem (Sicily, Italy)

Lago Preola is a small lake, located in SW Sicily, in a karstic depression within the Nature Reserve “Lago Preola e Gorghi Tondi”. With about 33 ha (maximum depth: 2 m), it is the widest of the 5 natural lakes occurring in the Reserve. The presence of species of conservation concern (e.g., Emys trinacris, the Sicilian Pond Turtle, and several migratory birds), but also of invasive alien species (e.g., Procambarus clarckii, the Red Swamp Crayfish), has been reported for the area. Three cranidia of a conocoryphid trilobite are described from the lower Caesaraugustan Regional Stage (upper part of provisional Cambrian Stage 5 within Cambrian Series 3) in the Iberian Chains, Spain. The material is from the upper part of the Mansilla Formation and the base of the overlying Murero Formation. It closely resembles Bailiella tenuicincta (Linnarsson, 1879), which has previously been described from the Ptychagnostus gibbus (Cambrian Stage 5) and lower P. atavus zones (lower Drumian Stage) of Baltica (Sweden and Bornholm), and from the P. atavus Zone of West Avalonia (Newfoundland). Early Palaeozoic palaeobiogeography and palaeoecology of stylophoran echinoderms

44 pages; International audience; Stylophorans (cornutes, mitrates) represent one of the most diverse classes of Cambro-Ordovician echinoderms. They were freeliving, benthic, non-radiate forms, closely related to asterozoans and crinoids. Taphonomic, sedimentological, and palaeosynecological data provide useful information on key aspects of stylophoran palaeoecology. Maģistra darba “Īpašumu atsavināšanas procesa risku vadīšana starptautiskas dzelzceļa līnijas “Rail Baltica” ieviešanā” mērķis ir iepazīstoties ar atsavināšanas procesu projekta “Rail Baltica” ietvaros, noteikt apzinātos riskus īpašumu atsavināšanas procesā, identificēt risku mazinošos pasākumus, kā arī noteikt atsavināšanas procesa pilnveidošanas virzienus projekta “Rail Baltica” īstenošanā. Abstract Ophiolitic rocks with a zircon age of ∼1020 Ma occur in the Dunzhugur complex of East Sayan, Siberia, and are part of a Neoproterozoic to early Palaeozoic segment of the Central Asian fold belt. The most spectacular suite is exposed along the Oka and Bokson rivers, where a complete ophiolite sequence with mantle tectonites, a layered sequence composed of dunite, wehrlite, and pyroxenite, a gabbro section, a sheeted diabase dyke complex and basaltic pillow lavas are exposed.
