Mediante el análisis de documentación inédita, el presente artículo investiga lo acontecido arquitectónica y artísticamente en la desaparecida Iglesia de San Bartolomé de Valencia entre los años 1704 y 1742. Partiendo de los daños que surgieron a raíz del levantamiento del segundo cuerpo del campanario, se profundizará en la reforma decorativa de la Capilla del Santo Sepulcro, la realización del púlpito, así como la construcción del retablo mayor y su dorado. The literary legacy of Johannes Scheffler - Angelus Silesius (1624-1677), known in Polish as Silesian Angel, is one of the most precious jewels of culture created in Silesia in the 17th century. The poet became famous with a small collection of couplets Cherubinischer Wandersmann (Cherub wanderer), which tries to present the mystical path to God in a speculative way. Silesian Angel tried to show an affective way to God and the collection of poems Heilige Seelen-Lust (Holy joy of the soul) is a meaningful example. The conservative intervention on four paintings preserved in the mother church of Partinico, in the province of Palermo, has allowed the recovery and enhancement of an important pictorial patrimony. The intervention, restoring the optimal conditions of the artifacts, has made possible the stylistic interpretation of the paintings, today referred to the environment of Neapolitan naturalism close to the classicist ways of Andrea Vaccaro.

Our paper examines the errors made by composers and book-makers in 16th- and 17th-century Italy. Errors made by composers were denounced by other composers, through the diffusion of written censures, or during public challenges in the presence of judges and witnesses. Errors made during the printing process can be found both in the paratext (forgotten or inverted letters and numbers in the title page) and in the text itself (omission of alterations or mistaken notes and words). Our paper ends with a discussion of errors and misunderstandings made by performers and listeners, including both those contemporary to the music, and others committed in modern performances of early music.

This paper addresses a genuine aspect of conceptionist visual rhetoric during the Viceroyalty of New Spain: the recycling of Immaculate Conception earlier types of representation that, with the consolidation of the image of the Immaculate derived from the Tota Pulchra, had fallen deprecated in the peninsular art. L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és examinar les composicions poètiques aportades per dones als tres certàmens celebrats a València i Barcelona, amb motiu de la beatificació (1614) i posterior canonització (1622) de Teresa de Jesús; dos moments clau per a la consolidació de la fama de la carmelitana avilesa que van possibilitar l’exhibició pública i impressió de poesia femenina. Analitzem també la participació femenina catalana al certamen celebrat a Saragossa el 1614 per la beatificació.
