Cell degradation detection based on an inter-cell approach

Fault management is a crucial part of cellular network management systems. The status of the base stations is usually monitored by well-defined key performance indicators (KPIs). The approaches for cell degradation detection are based on either intra-cell or inter-cell analysis of the KPIs. In intra-cell analysis, KPI profiles are built based on their local history data whereas in inter-cell analysis, KPIs of one cell are compared with the corresponding KPIs of the other cells. Search for Cosmic Neutrino Point Sources with Four Year Data of the ANTARES Telescope

In this paper, a time-integrated search for point sources of cosmic neutrinos is presented using the data collected from 2007 to 2010 by the ANTARES neutrino telescope. No statistically significant signal has been found and upper limits on the neutrino flux have been obtained. Assuming an E ¿2 n; spectrum, these flux limits are at 1-10 ¿10¿8 GeV cm¿2 s¿1 for declinations ranging from ¿90° to 40°. Limits for specific models of RX J1713.7¿3946 and Vela X, which include information on the source morphology and spectrum, are also given.

Crime Analysis of the Metropolitan Region of Santiago de Chile: A Spatial Panel Data Approach

The aim of our work is to determine the influence that socio-economic and demographic factors have had on crimes that have taken place during the period 2010–2018 in the communes of the Metropolitan Region of Chile, as well as the existence of possible spatial or temporal effects. We address 12 kinds of crime that we have grouped into two main types: against people and against property. Our interest focuses on crimes against people, using crimes against property as an additional covariate in order to investigate the existence of the broken-windows phenomenon in this context. Teaching master's degree students to read research literature

The skill to read research literature critically belongs in every university graduate’s toolbox. I have attempted to teach this skill in a master’s degree level course in programming languages over 15 years using, at various times, simulated conferences, voluntary reading exercises, evidence-based practice training, and a flipped classroom with mandatory reading assignments. I discuss my experience and analyze preliminary qualitative data on the use of evidence-based practice and a flipped classroom for this purpose. Jau kopš 2014. gada autore izmanto starppriekšmetu saikni informātikas stundās, apvienojot informātikas un fizikas mācību priekšmetus, vidusskolēnu, it īpaši 10. klases skolēnu, motivēšanai. Skolotāju maģistra pieredzes darba ietvaros tika veikts pētījums 2018. gada pavasarī. Pētījumā izmantotā metode ir darbības pētījums. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, vai starppriekšmetu saiknes izmantošana fizikā un informātikā uzlabos 10. klases skolēnu pamata kompetences (digitālo, saziņas, sadarb ̄ıbas un dabaszinātņu). As already observed in similar molecules, the dithiocarbazate group in the title compound, C17H26N2OS2, adopts anEEconfiguration with respect to the C=N bond of the benzylidene moiety. In the crystal, molecules are connected into inversion dimers by pairs of N—H...S hydrogen bonds. The dimers are linked by weak π–π interactions, with centroid-to-centroid distances of 3.723 (11) Å, forming chains parallel to [110].

In the crystal, such anions are connected with the potassium cations and the water solvent mol­ecules, forming a three-dimensional polymeric framework, which is stabilized by an extensive system of hydrogen bonds.

Crystal structure of the diglycidyl ether of eugenol

2017

The diep­oxy monomer (DGE-Eu) was synthesized from eugenol by a three-step reaction. It consists of a 1,2,4-tris­ubstituted benzene ring substituted by diglycidyl ether, a meth­oxy group and a methyl­oxirane group. The three-membered oxirane rings are inclined to the benzene ring by 61.0 (3) and 27.9 (3)°. In the crystal, mol­ecules are linked by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the ab plane.
