Après quatre années de campagne de fouilles archéologiques programmées sur une partie du site de Cluny, on peut considérer que le champ des connaissances s'est considérablement accru pour la zone orientale du cloître, qui n'était partiellement connue que par les travaux, maintenant anciens, de K. J. Conant. Ses recherches n'avaient porté que sur une portion d'espace correspondant à ce qu'il appelait " le chevet de Cluny II ", sans inclure son sanctuaire. Les dernières campagnes sur le terrain ont modifié l'interprétation générale du chevet et de sa chronologie. À la suite des recherches menées antérieurement dans la nef et le chœur de l'église, il était indispensable d'évaluer par sondages le potentiel bâti au sud de l'abbatiale. Aucune des constructions médiévales n'existe plus depuis le xviiie siècle à cet endroit, devenu au xixe siècle une voie publique. Ces recherches faites dans le cadre du projet collectif sur les premiers monastères de l'Est de la France - sous la direction de S. Bully et C. Sapin -, ont révélé des maçonneries appartenant au dispositif claustral médiéval et une sépulture. ActRec: A Wi-Fi-Based Human Activity Recognition System

In this paper, we develop a Wi-Fi-based activity recognition system called ActRec, which can be used for the remote monitoring of elderly. ActRec comprises two parts: radio-frequency (RF) sensing and machine learning. In the RF sensing part, two laptops act as transmitter and receiver to record the channel transfer function of an indoor environment. This RF data is collected in the presence of seven human participants performing three activities: walking, falling, and sitting. The RF data containing the fingerprints of user activity is then pre-processed with various signal processing algorithms to reduce noise effects and to estimate the mean Doppler shift (MDS) of each data sample. Low total energy expenditure (TEE, MJ/d) has been a hypothesized risk factor for weight gain, but repeatability of TEE, a critical variable in longitudinal studies of energy balance, is understudied. We examine repeated doubly labeled water (DLW) measurements of TEE in 348 adults and 47 children from the IAEA DLW Database (mean ± SD time interval: 1.9 ± 2.9 y) to assess repeatability of TEE, and to examine if TEE adjusted for age, sex, fat-free mass, and fat mass is associated with changes in weight or body composition.
