The present study followed 156 Finnish children (Mage = 7.25 years) during the first grade of primary school to examine to what extent parent- and teacher-rated temperament impacts children's math and reading skill development during the first grade, and the extent to which this impact would be mediated by teachers' interaction styles with the children. The results showed that the impact of children's low task orientation and negative emotionality on their math skill development was mediated via teachers' behavioral control and, among girls, also by psychological control. Five individuals of Lagocephalus sceleratus were caught by trammel and gill nets off Ain Al Ghazala, Libya (approximately 32°09'N − 23°15'E) between 15 and 25 m depth in September 2010. Our findings represent the first record of this toxic species from Libya and provide further evidence of its occurrence along North African coasts.

The Risks of WiFi Flexibility: Enabling and Detecting Cheating

Flexibility is an important paradigm for future WiFi networks. However, it also opens the possibility for diverse methods of cheating, which users can perform to increase their throughput. Therefore, it is important to develop the necessary tools to mitigate such efforts. In this paper we first discuss the risks of flexibility in terms of misbehaviour. We then propose an architecture to detect misbehaviour and react by punishing the cheaters. The proposed architecture utilizes advanced passive monitoring, flexible WiFi software, and appropriate reasoning to detect cheating. We validate its performance and discuss means of punishment

This paper presents two sampling-event datasets with occurrences of vascular plants, bryophytes and lichens collected in May-June 2021 in southern Ukraine. We aimed to collect high-quality biodiversity data in an understudied region and contribute it to international databases and networks.
