Corrosion behaviour of sintered Nd(Fe,Al)B magnets

Abstract The effect of 1–6 at% Al additions to a sintered NdFeB magnet on its corrosion behaviour was tested. The additions do not influence the magnet's corrosion behaviour in the active state and cause beneficial effects in the passive state. The Al additions inhibit atmospheric corrosion of the magnets.

Abstract Fermented mashes based on different cereal grist are a healthy and nutritious beverage, a source for new functional products with beneficial effects on human health. These mashes are a thick consistency and sour-sweet taste, different colors depending on the ingredients and method of preparation. Germplasm evaluation to obtain inulin with high degree of polymerization in Mediterranean environment

Long-chain length (DP) inulin-type fructans show pronounced beneficial effects to colon microbiota. In the past, cardoon roots for inulin production to fortify spaghetti gave very good results, but their harvest requires high costs. The aim of the work was to evaluate different types of inulin, extracted from cardoon roots and buds, topinambur tubers and chicory roots local populations in order to identify crops more suitable for high DP inulin production in Mediterranean environment. Abstract A prolonged positive energy balance may contribute to fat accumulation and obesity development. It was observed several years ago that population resident in southern Italy consumed a particular diet and was less obese and lived significantly longer, and it was referred as the Mediterranean diet. Scholars have suggested that whether work-related thoughts during off-job time have detrimental or beneficial effects on employees’ well-being and performance depends on the nature of these thoughts.
