Purpose: Promoting the labour integration of people with functional diversity is a key element to achieve their social inclusion. This meta-analysis aims to examine the effectiveness of experimental programs in developing employable skills for people with disabilities. Methods: Literature searches up to June 2019 were conducted in four databases (Web of Science, Scopus, PsycINFO and ERIC). The role of informal learning in adults' literacy proficiency

This study used the Programme for International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) dataset to examine informal literacy learning’s effects on adults’ literacy proficiency. Also, the factors associated with informal literacy learning at and outside of work were studied. The study participants were Nordic adults aged 35–65 years. The statistical method was regression analysis, and the results indicate that informal literacy activities at work are associated primarily with occupation, and informal literacy activities outside of work with education, parents’ education and gender. Tässä pro gradu-tutkielmassa käsitellään jääkiekkoilijoiden työperäistä, kansainvälistä liikkuvuutta ja kieliresursseja. Tutkielma on koottu kolmen teemahaastattelun ympärille, jotka käytiin kahden suomalaisen jääkiekkoilijan sekä yhden suomalaisen jääkiekkovalmentajan kanssa Sveitsissä vuoden 2014 tammikuussa. Haastateltavat toimivat haastattelujen aikana jääkiekon parissa Sveitsin NLA-liigassa. Tutkielman näkökulmaksi rajautui siis suomalaisiin jääkiekkotoimijoihin Sveitsissä. The article offers a rereading of Weber’s Politik als Beruf as a conceptualisation of politics contingent and controversial activity in terms of the four aspects of politics: politicisation, polity, politicking and policy. Weber discusses politics as a concept abstracted from its content. All four aspects can be found in his exposition of the concept. Berufliche Rehabilitation nach Laryngektomie

Ziel dieser Studie war es herauszufinden, wie viele Patienten nach einer Laryngektomie (LE) erfolgreich ins Berufsleben zuruckkehren und welche Faktoren eine berufliche Wiedereingliederung unterstutzen. Laryngektomierte (n=231) im Alter von bis zu 60 Jahren wurden vor der LE (t1), vor der Anschlussheilbehandlung (AHB) (t2), am Ende der AHB (t3), 1 Jahr nach LE (t4), 2 Jahre nach LE (t5) und 3 Jahre nach LE (t6) mithilfe von strukturierten Interviews und Fragebogen befragt.
