Šī darba mērķis ir noskaidrot veiksmīgākos risinājumus lietvārda hesed un no saknēm hnn, rhm atvasināto vārdu tulkošanai Rakstu vietās, kurās tie sastopami blakus. Tas nepieciešams, jo gan hesed, gan hnn, rhm latviešu valodā mēdz tulkot ar vārdam “žēlastība” fonētiski līdzīgiem vārdiem. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, noskaidrotas vārdu nozīmes gan senebreju, gan latviešu valodā, veikta daļēja apskatāmo 24 pantu ekseģēze un salīdzināti trīs Bībeles tulkojumi latviešu valodā. Darbs noslēdzas ar secinājumiem par hesed, hnn un rhm izpratni latviešu valodā un līdzšinējo tulkojumu salīdzinājumu.

This article presents an analysis of the journey of the Dutch Reformed Church (South Africa) back into the ecumenical fellowship of the World Council of Churches (WCC). Hebrew Bible offers alternative Economic utopia for building Theocratic society. In this paper, various economic concepts and themes are presented, as found in the Hebrew Bible. These economic concepts include taxation, property rights, labor market, social policy, banking, years of Sabbath and Jubilee, and business cycles. Most economic issues of the Bible are found in the texts of Torah, also known as five Books of Moses. These texts are analyzed by using classical Rabbinical commentaries for better insight.
