Amplified John? Kristologiske tekster i Johannesevangeliet og Bibelselskapets NT05-oversettelse

2011

Author's version of an article published in the journal: Tidsskrift for teologi og kirke. Also available from the publisher at: http://www.idunn.no/ts/ttk/2011/02/art03 The article argues that the latest translation of the New Testament (NT05) by the Norwegian Bible Society has a tendency to amplify several Christological texts in the Gospel of John. It consists of two parts: Part 1 discusses the translation of John 1:1–5, 1:14, 1:15 and 1:18, and offers a new general interpretation of the prologue. Part 2 treats the translation of ekserkjomai in Joh 8:42, 13:3, 16:27–30, and 17:8.

A few remarks on the Inedita Pseudo-Chrysostomic Homily De transfiguratione et eleemosyna (CPG 5009; BHGn 1996t)

2021

The article presents the preliminary results of the author’s study of the unedited homily De transfiguratione et eleemosyna (CPG 5009; BHGn 1996t), ascribed to John Chrysostom. The question of the manuscript tradition is first discussed. The article shows that Maurice Sachot is right when he indicates only the manuscript Romanus Angelicus gr. 125 (T.1.7) as a manuscript witness of this homily and that the other two witnesses indicated by Pinakes are erroneous. Then, the descriptions of the folios that preserve the homily are analysed in the light of a new examination of them. This re-examination shows that hitherto several sources that inspired the compiler have gone unnoticed. This is foll…

Autorytet Biblii w tradycji ewangelickiej

2011

The Bible in protestant tradition inherits exceptional meaning. There is nothing else along with the Bible that would present of equal or similar value for evangelical theology. Highest merits for elaborating such great respect to the Holy Scripture shall be awarded to the Father of Reformation – Martin Luther. In accordance with the sola scriptura reformative rule formed by him, the only normative value in the life and faith of Evangelical Churches is presented by the Bible. Such position is adopted by all post-Reformation Churches continuously. The rejection of Magisterium Ecclesiae may however lead to the risk of polysemantic and subjective interpretation of biblical chapters by the wors…

Se realizó un seguimiento clínico a l…

Les images de la vie terrestre de la Vierge dans l'art mural (peintures et mosaïques) en France et en Italie : des origines de l’iconographie chrétie…

2012

This thesis is devoted to wall images of the Virgin’s earthly life, an iconographic sequence composed of the young Mary’s history and episodes from Christ’s life which are related to the Virgin, until Pentecost. It is based on an abundant iconographic documentation which includes more than 2300 pictures, wall paintings and mosaics, preserved in France and Italy. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the quantitative analysis of the iconographic documentation, according to a triple point of view. A thematic analysis identifies three phases in the chronological sequence of the Virgin…
