Characterization of Legal Psychology through psychology journals included in Criminology & Penology and Law categories of Web of Science

The objective of this work is to learn about the most relevant aspects that characterize contemporary Legal Psychology throughout the study of journals included in the WoS between the years 2009 and 2014 related with the area of Psychology. The number of selected publications is 16, mainly from the USA and Great Britain. The results show an increase in the number of works and authors, a greater collaboration and a growth in medium productors. It exists a major presence of men in editorial boards and as authors, outstanding the figures of T. Ward in 2009 and A. Vrij in 2014. Ante la importancia de las revistas como transmisoras de conocimientos, se valora la visibilidad de las publicaciones médicas españolas a través de la cobertura que en el año 2000 tenía el directorio de publicaciones periódicas Ulrich’s International Periodicals Directory. La cobertura de dicho directorio se ha contrastado con la de las bases de datos especializadas Index Medicus/MEDLINE e Índice Médico Español/IME, así como con el Journal Citation Reports. Objetivo: Analizar la actividad científica y la producción de información de la revista Farmacia Hospitalaria como publicación científica española de referencia en el área de la farmacia. Método: Estudio descriptivo transversal de los resultados obtenidos del análisis bibliométrico de los artículos publicados en la revista, obteniéndose los datos de la consulta directa y acceso, vía Internet, a la literatura científica recogida en la versión electrónica de la revista en el periodo 2004 a 2012. Análisis de las publicaciones españolas sobre Documentación e Informática Médica

Se estudia la producción española de documentación e información médicas, en sus distintas áreas de especialización, hasta el año 1991. Se analiza el crecimiento de la producción de los diferentes tipos de documentos sobre la disciplina, así como las materias, instituciones de procedencia y distribución geográfica . Los resultados muestran la gran dispersión de los trabajos sobre el tema y el predominio de los estudios dedicados a la documentación clínica, producidos en instituciones hospitalarias.
Bibliometric analysis of the Annual Review of Legal Psychology journal between 1991-2019

[EN]: The present study carries out a bibliometric analysis of Annual Review of Legal Psychology from 1991 to 2019. Data were collected from a database that allows for the analysis of authors, institutions, countries, gender, topics, and impact. The results enable us to observe gender discrepancies among authors, with a a higher frequency of women (50.2%), and the number of signatures (53.7% men). Over the years there is an increase in the number of authors and signatures, of co-authorship, a higher presence of international signatures, representing 23.5% between 2011 and 2019.
