IL DOPPIO PROCESSO A FINALITA' RISARCITORIA DEL DANNO ERARIALE TRA LE SENTENZA DELLA CORTE EDU 'RIGOLIO' ED IL CODICE DELLA GIUSTIZIA CONTABILE

2017

2013

International audience; In this paper, we present a survey of TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) protocol for better performance in the MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network). After a short presentation of the main features of TCP, we give the most important problems from which TCP suffer in MANET. We present after that some approaches proposed in the literature in order to improve its performance. Our paper contains also a performance evaluation of TCP NewReno and TCP Vegas transport protocols under AODV and DSR routing protocols. The simulations are conducted under varying conditions of number of TCP connections, number of nodes and mobility.

Architetture rupestri a Caltabellotta

2020

Socioeconomic Environment and Survival in Patients with Digestive Cancers: A French Population-Based Study

2021

Simple Summary Studies investigating the social gradient in digestive cancer survival are scarce, and the statistical methods used do not always consider important assumptions in survival analysis for adequate assessment. Using an ecological index (European Deprivation Index), we found a negative impact of social environment in digestive cancers net survival (especially for esophagus, stomach, bile ducts among females; colon and rectum for both sexes) and provided insight into how this social gradient in cancer survival builds up, and at what time of follow-up it appears. These results can guide clinical practice/public health actions to address social inequalities in survival by targeting …

Role of the Ha-ras gene in the malignant transformation of rat liver oval cells.

1997

We have shown that the oval cell line OCICDE 22 can be transformed by the highly carcinogenic fiord-region diol epoxides of benzo[c]phenanthrene. Mutational activation of the ras proto-oncogene family has been proposed to be a critical event in the formation of tumors induced by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Therefore, we investigated whether in the earlier transformed OCICDE 22 cells any point mutations were detected in the ras proto-oncogene. The results indicate that the malignant transformation of OCICDE 22 cells by the 4 stereoisomeric benzo[c]phenan-threne diol epoxides in vitro is independent of activation of the Ha-ras proto-oncogene. In addition, Northern and Western blot analy…

FOENIX-101: A phase II trial of TAS-120 in patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma harboring FGFR2 gene rearrangements.

2019

TPS468 Background: Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) is a cancer arising from the intrahepatic bile duct. Standard treatment of unresectable, recurrent, or metastatic iCCA is with cytotoxic chemotherapy. FGFR2 gene fusions have been identified as oncogenic drivers in 10–20% of iCCA tumors, but no targeted agents have been established to date. TAS-120 is an investigational irreversible FGFR1–4 inhibitor in development as a once-daily oral treatment for iCCA. Based on initial studies in multiple tumor types expressing FGFR abnormalities, iCCA was identified as a tumor type with potential susceptibility to FGFR inhibition and high unmet need. A phase I portion of the trial with an iCCA e…

On the spectral moments of non-WSSUS mobile-to mobile double-Rayleigh fading channels

2017

This paper deals with the mathematical analysis of the spectral moments of non-wide-sensestationary uncorrelated-scattering (non-WSSUS) mobile-to-mobile (M2M) double-Rayleigh fading channels. The point of departure is a recently proposed geometry-based statistical model (GBSM) for M2M double-Rayleigh fading channels from which general analytical expressions are derived for the average Doppler shift, Doppler spread, average delay, and delay spread. Closed-form solutions of such expressions are presented for the particular case of the geometrical two-rings scattering model. The obtained results indicate that the average Doppler shift and Doppler spread are directly influenced by not only the …

Bile acid-derived mono- and diketals—synthesis, structural characterization and self-assembling properties

2010

Three oxo-derivatives of bile acid methyl esters have been used as starting compounds in the preparation of novel bile acid monoketals with 1,2-benzenediol (catechol) and 2,3-naphthalenediol, as well as mono- and diketals with pentaerythritol. Monoketals of pentaerythritol showed a tendency to form thermoreversible gels in many aromatic solvents and the methyl lithocholate derivative proved to be a supergelator able to form a gel with t-butylbenzene at a concentration as low as 0.5% w/v. Whereas the naphthalenediol ketals formed film-type materials in the studied solvents, the catechol ketals underwent rapid crystallization into X-ray quality single crystals. Single crystal X-ray structures…

Miłosierdzie jako istotna kategoria pedagogiki katolickiej

2017

Mercy - an important category of Catholic pedagogy God is the One who is present, close, holy, and merciful. An important task of every Christian is to recognise the merciful look of Jesus Christ. He is the only hope for sinful people. Mercy is the bridge that connects God and man, opening our hearts to the hope of being loved forever despite our sinfulness. Mercy is the fundamental idea of Catholic pedagogy: every Christian is called to show mercy because mercy has first been shown to him. Pardoning offences becomes the clearest expression of merciful love, and for the Christians it is an imperative from which we cannot excuse oursełves. Jesus made mercy an ideał of life and a criterion fo…
