Se presenta una demostración de aula que muestra que la curva voltaje-intensidad del filamento de una bombilla incandescente es no lineal. Para un filamento de tungsteno se observa que la resistencia eléctrica aumenta con la temperatura del filamento, la cual aumenta con la potencia eléctrica consumida, pues esta se disipa por radiación según la ley de Stefan. Para un filamento de carbono se observa que la resistencia eléctrica disminuye con la temperatura, evidenciando así que no es un metal (sino un semimetal). International audience; This paper deals with a debate between Hawtrey, Hicks and Keynes concerning the capacity of the central bank to influence the short-term and the long-term rates of interest. Both Hawtrey and Keynes considered the central bank’s ability to influence short-term rates of interest. However, they do not put the same emphasis on the study of the long-term rates of interest. According to Keynes, long-term rates are influenced by future expected short-term rates (1930, 1936), whereas for Hawtrey (1932, 1937, 1938), long-term rates are more dependent on the business cycle. 1.Camouflage helps animals to hide from predators and is therefore key to survival. Although widespread convergence of animal phenotypes to their natural environment is well established, there is a lack of knowledge about how species compromise camouflage accuracy across different background types in their habitat. 2.Here we tested how background matching has responded to top‐down selection by avian and mammalian predators using Sahara‐Sahel desert rodents in North Africa. 3.We show that the fur coloration of several species has become an accurate match to different types of desert habitats.
