Pētījuma „Autobiogrāfisko atmiņu par laulību dzimumatšķirības pēc laulības šķiršanas” mērķis bija izpētīt autobiogrāfiskās atmiņas sievietēm un vīriešiem pēc laulības šķiršanas un atklāt, vai pastāv būtiskas atšķirības starp autobiogrāfiskajām atmiľām sievietēm un vīriešiem. Pētījumā piedalījās 60 respondenti, 30 sievietes un 30 vīrieši, kuriem ir šķirta laulība ar Latvijas Civillikuma Ģimenes tiesību daļas noteikumiem vai kuri ir laulības šķiršanas procesā, vecumā no 30 līdz 45 gadiem (M=38,13; SD= 4,47). "I’m from exile”. This is how a poet, a cosmopolitan, and a citizen of the world of poetry Mohsen Emadi describes himself. He writes poems on loss and displacement, charting his experiences of mobility. This essay is based on Emadi’s poems and biographical interviews with the poet. Quotes from the interviews and fragments of his poems are combined with theoretical reflections on diaspora, nomadism, and exile by researchers such as Edward Said and Rogers Brubaker. The Effect of Cue Media on Recollections

External cognition concerns knowledge that is embedded in our everyday lives and environment. One type of knowledge is memories, recollections of events that occurred in the past. So how do we remember them? One way this can be done is through cuing and reconstructing. These cues can be internal, in our minds, or in our everyday environment. In this paper we look at memory cues in our environment by comparing the effect of cue modality (odor, physical artifact, photo, sound, and video) on the number of memory details people had from a unique one-day real-life event. Autobiographical memory and the self in a single-case of chronic unilateral spatial neglect

International audience; Unilateral spatial neglect (USN) is mainly defined as a condition affecting perception and the mental representation of the environment. However, nothing is known about its impact on the ability to mentally represent one's past and on personal identity. We addressed these questions in a case of chronic USN, DR, a 59-year-old right-handed woman, who underwent a variety of measures exploring the self and autobiographical memory (AM). DR showed preserved self-images and her AM performance was only preserved when memories were prompted by her own self-images and not by self-unrelated cues. Our findings are discussed in light of the interconnection between the self and AM.
Theatricalization of self : personal blogs as theatre performance

The aim of this thesis is to compare personal blogs and theatre art. The study is conducted as theoretical discourse and focuses on comparison of personal blogs with a subgenre of theatre art, performance art. Using actual selected examples from theatre art as well as from personal blogs, the study aims to outline the similarities, which personal blogs share with theatre performance. The theoretical framework of the thesis suggests that personal blogs with their nature of the observed subject, the blogger, and the observer, the reader, produce one of the basic elements of theatre art, theatricality. The article demonstrates the significance of Florian Znaniecki’s personal documents method and biographical method in contemporary sociology. By relating to the methodological disputes of the late 19lh and early 20lh century, it indicates the theoretical basis for the establishment of those methods and the connection with inductive sociology put forward by F. Znaniecki. It presents the diary-writing competitions announced in the interwar period as a sign of the implementation thereof.
