Nearly one third of students worldwide are bullied, with negative physical, psychological, relational consequences for victims, perpetrators and bystanders. According to the latest available surveillance data, in Sicily, the estimated prevalence among 11-15 years old children is 14%. This study aimed to estimate a prevalence of the bullying phenomenon, observed by teachers, in a sample of secondary schools of Palermo, Sicily. Artykuł dotyczy rozważań nad zjawiskiem cyberagresji w kontekście zagrożenia bezpieczeństwa cyfrowego dzieci i młodzieży. Jest to problem, którego muszą być świadome wszystkie osoby korzystające z internetu, w tym nauczyciele, aby mogli skutecznie realizować działania zwiększające kompetencje cyfrowe młodego pokolenia. Głównym celem opracowania było przedstawienie skali zjawiska cyberagresji oraz zaprezentowanie badań dotyczących świadomości występowania tego problemu wśród nauczycieli szkół gimnazjalnych z terenu miasta Opole.

Koulussa ilmenevää kiusaamista on tutkittu varsin runsaasti. Useimmiten mielenkiinnon kohteena on ollut oppilaiden välisissä vuorovaikutussuhteissa esiintyvä koulukiusaaminen. Kuitenkin myös opettajat joutuvat oppilaidensa kiusaamiksi ja opettajat kiusaavat oppilaitaan. Lisäksi opettajat kokevat kiusaamista oppilaiden vanhempien taholta. Näistä koulun vertaisrajat ylittävistä kiusaamissuhteista tiedetään toistaiseksi varsin vähän, minkä lisäksi vertaisrajat ylittävän kiusaamisen käsitettä ei voida pitää vakiintuneena. Demonstrating measure-correlate-predict algorithms for estimation of wind resources in central Finland

In this study, measure-correlate-predict (MCP) algorithms - Simple Linear Regression and Variance Ratio Methods - for predicting wind speed were studied. The MCP algorithms were successfully used to predict missing wind speeds at two sites in Jyväskylä and Viitasaari, respectively. These two algorithms used data from one of the site to predict missing wind speed data at the other site. The results obtained using the MCP methods were compared using metrics that showed the characteristics of the predicted data to be unbiased compared to measured data.
