Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot vai pastāv izdegšanas un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju rādītāju statistiski nozīmīga saistība strādājošu un nestrādājošu studentu grupās. Pētījumā piedalījās 100 respondenti (N=100), vecumā no 17 līdz 55 gadiem, no tiem 60 sievietes un 40 vīrieši. Pētījuma gaitā, respondenti tika iedalīti 2 grupās (katrā grupā 50 respondenti). 50 respondenti, kuri tikai studē un 50 respondenti, kuri studē un strādā. Kā mērinstrumenti tikai izmantota akadēmiskās izdegšanas aptauja studentiem un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju aptauja. Respondentiem tika lūgts aizpildīt aptauju elektroniski. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie struktury źródeł finansowania wydatków studentów pobierających naukę na poziomie wyższym (studia) w Opolu. Prezentowany materiał stanowi efekt kilkuletnich badań empirycznych, które wykonano we wszystkich uczelniach wyższych prowadzących działalność edukacyjną w Opolu, mającym status regionalnego ośrodka akademickiego. Association between Anxiety, Quality of Life and Academic Performance of the Final-Year-Students in Latvia

The main objective of this study was to investigate the association between final-year students’ anxiety level and quality of life (QOL) with their academic achievements. A longitudinal study was performed in regular schools and in high-rated gymnasiums at the beginning and at the end of the school year. Multiple linear regression models were built for the association between level of anxiety/QOL with academic achievements. Globally, persons with disabilities are underrepresented in higher education. In sub-Saharan Africa, where opportunities for higher education are especially limited, women are unlikely to continue their education. This research investigates women in Tanzanian higher education with the double marginalisation of being a woman and having disabilities. The women were interviewed on what factors enabled access and participation for their educational success. A thematic analysis of qualitative data was applied. ADHD symptoms and maladaptive achievement strategies: the reciprocal prediction of academic performance beyond the transition to middle school

This longitudinal study examined how two externalising behaviour problems, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and conduct disorder (CDs), are associated over time with low motivation (MAS), and how these problems effect academic performance. In our cross-lagged analysis, we found reciprocal effects between ADHD symptoms and MAS between Grades 5 and 6. Both domains also negatively predicted later academic performance. With CDs and MAS, no cross-lagged effects were found, although both were correlated and very stable over time, and negatively predicted later academic performance. The purpose of this article is to show the abdominal cavity's dissection method. In the summer of 2018 a group of students from the University of Palermo, who had already taken the anatomy exam and had good knowledege of English, went for a period of two weeks to do a dissection course at the University of malta. The students dissected skin, subcutaneously, muscle layers, parietal peritoneum and abdominal organs. this works proves to be a small dissection guide for young medical students who want to learn the main bases of dissection and important information for topographical anatomy.

The aim of this Article is to show methods for dissection of the lower limb. In the summer 2017 a group of students at the University of Palermo that have already passed the exam of Human Anatomy took a 4 weeks dissection course at the University of Malta - School of Medicine. The students were provided with a dissection kit, video recording equipment and cameras for taking pictures. This paper presents the results of the dissection course and a small and simple guide to young students and medical doctors who want to learn the bases of lower limb dissection.
