However a large body of literature has investigated the effects of various display factors, both on a perceptual and on a cognitive level. We propose here a review of research and its implication on the design of computerized documents.

La novela Tengo miedo, torero (2001) de Pedro Lemebel aborda la situación de la comunidad transgénero en Santiago de Chile bajo la dictadura de Augusto Pinochet. The dynamics of this thesis resides in the search for the breach between the historical positioning (in relation to scientific fact itself) of homeopathic medication in the history of medical sciences, and the representation made of it in the past and present. By distinguishing what may be at stake, we are led to identify the positioning and impact of the mode of transmitting scientific fact as lacking a historical link to the history of medical sciences, notably medication. Our research hypothesis thus postulates that the transmission mode is at the source of discrepancies in representation. A Band Model of Cambium Development: Opportunities and Prospects

More than 60% of tree phytomass is concentrated in stem wood, which is the result of periodic activity of the cambium. Nevertheless, there are few attempts to quantitatively describe cambium dynamics. In this study, we develop a state-of-the-art band model of cambium development, based on the kinetic heterogeneity of the cambial zone and the connectivity of the cell structure. The model describes seasonal cambium development based on an exponential function under climate forcing which can be effectively used to estimate the seasonal cell production for individual trees. Freshwater mussels (Unionoida) show great variability in shell morphology which can be associated with differences in habitat, sex and/or parasite infection. Three unionid mussel species, (Anodonta anatina, Unio pictorum and Unio tumidus) were collected from two sites Lake Saravesi, (Laukaa) and Lake Kuivasjarvi, (Oulu), between May - October 2012. Intraspecific trends that were associated with the mussels’ sex and/or parasites infection were studied and observations were made on how sex and parasite infection could have a role in shells morphological characters/patterns.
