Esta investigación tiene por objetivo diseñar, mediante la metodología de investigación de diseño, una secuencia de enseñanza que permita iniciar en álgebra, mediante problemas de patrones geométricos, a estudiantes con altas capacidades matemáticas. La secuencia diseñada ha sido dividida en tres etapas diferenciadas: iniciación a la generalización, introducción de conceptos algebraicos y aplicación, tanto en problemas de patrones geométricos como en otros contextos. This article aims to investigate how ‘knowledge-related human capital’ can be accumulated, i.e. created, shared and transferred, in family business over time. ‘Knowledge-related human capital’ is considered to be a combination of pure knowledge and skill, which family and non-family members working in the family firm have gained and developed through education and experience. Shell attributes such as weight and shape affect the reproduction, growth, predator avoidance and behaviour of several hermit crab species. Although the importance of these attributes has been extensively investigated, it is still difficult to assess the relative role of size and shape.
