In this research we investigate whether quarterly earnings announcements are informative using awide sample of firms listed in the Spanish Stock Market (SIBE). We study the period comprised between thethird quarterly of 2002 and the fourth quarterly of 2003. We analyse whether abnormal returns are related tothe quarter in which the announcement is released, whether the announcement implies good or bad news forthe firm, the source of the information, the size of the firm and whether the firm is followed by analysts.Results show that quarterly earnings announcements are informative. Exploration of jet substructure using iterative declustering in pp and Pb–Pb collisions at LHC energies

The ALICE collaboration at the CERN LHC reports novel measurements of jet substructure in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$= 7 TeV and central Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 2.76 TeV. Jet substructure of track-based jets is explored via iterative declustering and grooming techniques. We present the measurement of the momentum sharing of two-prong substructure exposed via grooming, the $z_{\rm{g}}$, and its dependence on the opening angle, in both pp and Pb-Pb collisions. We also present the first measurement of the distribution of the number of branches obtained in the iterative declustering of the jet, which is interpreted as the number of its hard splittings. We argue that transnational criminal law has enacted a global rule by law enforcement agencies, at odds with the rule of law. Mutual legal assistance agreements (MLAA) allow exporting law enforcement practices without proper judicial oversight. Consequently defendants required in extradition are exposed to abuses, as illustrated here with extradition cases from Colombia to the United States of America (USA) in the past decades. Tuomet, racemizacijai tinkamiausiuose tirpiklių variantuose buvo tiriama alkoholių kinetinė rezoliucija. Gauti duomenys buvo panaudoti naujos dinaminės kinetinės rezoliucijos procedūros paieškose.

Il saggio indaga il patrimonio delle ville e dei giardini storici, sistemati con parterre, viali, sculture, padiglioni, fontane e ricca flora e in alcuni casi anche fauna esotica, realizzati, dalla seconda metà del Seicento, a Bagheria, vicino Palermo. Sono anche presentati i processi di trasformazione, abbandono e distruzione (seconda metà del sec. XX), valutando le nuove politiche d’intervento basate sulla necessità di un censimento dei giardini e dei parchi storici superstiti, attivando le basi indispensabili per contribuire all’azione di conoscenza, tutela, manutenzione, restauro e valorizzazione.
