This article investigated the Conditioned Place Preference (CPP) technique as a useful model for studying the motivational properties of drugs of abuse. The background of the technique is presented. Methodological issues that need to be considered when designing a study using CPP are discussed. Mientras que en el niño mayor de 1 año la leucemia linfoblástica aguda (LLA) es el cáncer más frecuente, en los menores de 1 año se trata de una enfermedad rara y supone entre el 2-5% de la LLA pediátrica. Pese a su rareza, la LLA del lactante es de gran interés debido a la presentación clínica agresiva en un huésped especialmente vulnerable. A pesar de los múltiples avances en el tratamiento de la LLA en la infancia, el pronóstico de los niños menores de 12 meses sigue siendo pobre presentando este grupo mayor morbimortalidad que los niños mayores. Definition of Water Meter Substitution Plans based on a Composite Indicator

This paper presents a water meter substitution plan based on a composite "Replacement indicator" which was defined and compared with common substitution strategies based on meter age and on run-to-fail approaches. The methodology was applied to one of the 17 sub-networks in which the Palermo city water distribution network (Italy) is divided. The analysis was carried out considering a substitution budget limitation and the results showed that the use of "Replacement indicator" outperform the classical substitution strategies based on meter age because it takes into account some other variables that may affect meter precision and wearing. Uno de los aspectos más importantes de la prótesis total de rodilla es la fijación inicial de la bandeja tibial al hueso. Para determinar qué técnica de cementación de bandeja tibial es la mejor, aplicamos el cemento en 40 tibias de donante crioconservadas de 4 maneras diferentes: -Técnica I (Doble +Tapón). Aplicamos la bandeja tibial usando 40 gramos de cemento óseo (PMM). La mitad del cemento se aplicó manualmente dentro de la quilla ósea tallada y en la superficie ósea epifisaria tibial.
