Comparison of the P-integral with Burkill's integrals and some applications to trigonometric series

It is proved that the $P_r$-integral [9] which recovers a function from its derivative defined in the space $L^r$, 1 ≤r<∞, is properly included in Burkill’s trigonometric CP-and SCP-integrals. As an application to harmonic analysis, a de La Vallée-Poussin-type theorem for the $P_r$-integral is obtained: convergence nearly everywhere of a trigonometric series to a $P_r$-integrable function f implies that this series is the Pr-Fourier series of f.

W trakcie licznych konfliktów zbrojnych rozegranych w osiemnastowiecznej Europie Prusy Wschodnie tylko raz były teatrem działań wojennych: latem 1757 r. – zimą 1758 r. Dwukrotnie jednak działania zbrojne toczyły się nad jej granicami, a w latach 1734-1735 przez prowincje pruską przechodziły transporty i oddziały walczących wojsk. Taka postawa nie przyniosła wówczas królowi pruskiemu żadnych korzyści, ale też uchroniła Prusy Wschodnie oraz jego mieszkańców przed ewentualnymi negatywnymi skutkami wojny na terytorium Rzeczpospolitej. Italian survey on the residents' surgical level in gynecology and obstetrics

Purpose: The present study aims to investigate the number of surgical procedures performed by Italian residents and their confidence to carry out different surgeries in obstetrics and gynecology. Methods: The present study is a national survey including all Italian gynecology and obstetrics senior residents. A questionnaire including 25 questions was provided. The free Google Forms site was used to create the survey. The study was conducted from April to October 2019. The survey started from the University Hospital of Parma, a tertiary hospital, and was sent to all the Italian post-graduation medical school in gynecology and obstetrics. L'Isterectomia peripartum: la nostra esperienza

Obiettivo: determinare l’incidenza, l’indicazione e l’associazione con il parto cesareo dell’isterectomia peripartum (I.P.), la morbilità e la mortalità materna e neonatale. Materiale e metodo: sono stati esaminati tutti i casi di isterectomia peripartum osservati presso l’U.O. di Ostetricia e Ginecologia dell’A.O.S. S. Antonio Abate di Trapani dall’1/01/2001 al 31/05/2006. Risultati: sono stati eseguiti 13 interventi di I.P. pari al 2,26‰ parti di cui 46,1% come isterectomia totale, e 53,9% come isterectomia subtotale. Two of them concern ancient examples (Hiero and Clearchus), the other one a modern experience, the famous and violent episode in which Cesare Borgia executes his lieutenant Rimirro, a capital punishment that Machiavelli watched in Cesena.
