The prevalence of smoking among Croatian adolescents is alarmingly high, but no previous study has prospectively examined the sport- and academic-factors associated with smoking and smoking initiation. This study aimed to prospectively examine the associations between scholastic (educational) achievement and sport factors and smoking in 16- to 18-year-old adolescents. This two-year prospective cohort study included 644 adolescents who were 16 years of age at baseline (46% females). Sāls nikotīna bāzes elektronisko cigarešu lietošana nesen ir kļuvusi populāra un pakāpeniski aizstāj tradicionālo smēķēšanu . Šī pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot nikotīna sāls elektronisko cigarešu lietošanas ietekmi uz zobu emaljas krāsas maiņu. Tika secinā ts, ka pašizveidotai fotometriskai sistēmai ir piemīt augsta precizitāte. Anketas dati norādīja, ka smēķētāji biežāk tīra zobus un lieto sojas mērci, taču retāk dzer tēju salīdzinot ar nesmēķētājiem. Smēķētāju iecienītākā garša bija augļu šķidrumi ar 20 mg /ml nikotīna. The so-called “refugee crisis” in Lesvos, Greece provides a poignant example of situated, local suffering that has called for the coordination of global resources to provide relief. Some of the first to respond were local and international Citizen Initiatives for Global Solidarity (CIGS). While a growing role for CIGS has been interpreted as a call for more global involvement, arguments for the increased localization of relief efforts suggest the need for aid agents to maintain a reflexive awareness of the potential for an influx of outside assistance to disempower those most affected. Elektronisko cigarešu “AirPuf” un ierīču “IQOS” zīmola komunikācija: atpazīstamība, uztvere un attieksme jauniešu vidū

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir analizēt tradicionālo smēķēšanas produktu alternatīvu nozares zīmolu “IQOS” un “AirPuf” komunikāciju un iegūt informāciju par to atpazīstamību un attieksmi pilngadību sasniegušo jauniešu auditorijā. Pētījuma izstrādes ietvaros ir veiktas 2 daļēji strukturētās intervijas ar zīmolu komunikācijas pārstāvjiem. Ar kontentanalīzes pētījuma metodi pavisam kopā apskatīti un analīzēti 155 zīmolu “IQOS” un “AirPuf” sociālā tīkla “Facebook” lapu ieraksti, kā arī tika veikta aptauja, kopumā aptaujājot 217 respondentu, tajā skaitā 104 jauniešus.
