Abstract Introduction: The construct validity of the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand questionnaire (DASH) has previously been questioned. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the measurement properties of the Finnish version of the DASH for assessing disability in patients with hand complaints using Rasch Measurement Theory. Methods: A cohort of 193 patients with typical hand and wrist complaints were recruited at a surgery outpatient clinic. Background: The assessment of food intake is challenging and prone to errors; it is therefore important to consider the reliability and validity of the assessment methods.Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze the reproducibility and validity of a developed food-frequency questionnaire (FFQ) for use among adolescents.Design: In total, 58 students (aged 13–14) from four different schools in the southern part of Norway participated in the reproducibility study of filling out the FFQ 4 weeks apart. Objective The aim of this study was to investigate physiotherapists’ validating and invalidating communication, before and after brief Cognitive Functional Therapy (CFT) training that included a session on validation skills. Associations between validation/invalidation and the characteristics of the interviews and physiotherapists were also explored. Principu piemērošana tiesu praksē, likumdošanas procesā notiek samērā gausi un sadrumstaloti. Temata vērtība līgumu brīvības kontekstā parādās, jo ekonomiskās attiecības daudzveidojas, līdz ar tām arī līgumu brīvības tvērums. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt deleģētās likumdošanas institūtu no varas dalīšanas aspekta. Līdz šim tiesību teorijā nav bijis daudz pētījumu par izvirzīto tēmu. Tiesību doktrīnā un tiesu praksē ir atrodami argumenti par to, kāpēc valstij ir nepieciešama deleģētā likumdošana, un kāda ir tās pozitīvā ietekme. Tiek norādīts, ka tā nav saderīga ar varas dalīšanu, tomēr dziļāka analīze nav veikta. Autore darbā secināja, ka deleģētā likumdošana ir izņēmums no varas dalīšanas principa, kuram gan normatīvajos aktos, gan tiesu praksē ir noteikti būtiski ierobežojumi.
