Contents and functions of dramatizations in team decision making

This study examines the contents and functions of dramatizations in natural team decision making. Theoretically, the study employs symbolic convergence theory to understand decision making as a complex phenomenon constructed in symbolic communication. Observational meeting data and thematic interview data from an autonomous team in Finland were analyzed. A fantasy theme analysis and an inductive, rhetorical discourse analysis revealed three rhetorical visions and seven functions of dramatizations in the team’s decision making. The importance of self-directed learning (SDL) in a business environment has been highlighted as a way to increase an organisation’s competitiveness and innovativeness. While organisations increasingly require SDL from employees, less attention is paid to the situations and frames enabling it. This study examines self-directed learning projects (SDLPs), situations in which SDL is realised as an individual or collective phenomenon. Background Monitoring physical activity among young adolescents with disabilities is a top academic priority. People with disabilities are a diverse group with various abilities in different human functioning. Therefore, we used a novel approach through functional limitations as a marker for disabilities and examined physical activity levels. Artykuł stanowi próbę, zawartą w formie impresyjno-intelektualnych notatek, opisania kondycji dzisiejszego pisania o polskiej literaturze najnowszej. Autor śledzi proces stopniowego osłabiania i despecyfikacji metod oraz języka współczesnej krytyki literackiej. Specjalną część rozważań wypełnia przegląd stanowisk krytyków reprezentujących różne opcje metodologiczne i światopoglądowe, a także badaczy polskiego dyskursu krytycznoliterackiego oraz dyskusja nad głośnym postulatem „prywatyzacji” krytyki literackiej.

Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai sabiedriskā medija LTV1 informatīvi analītiskais raidījums “Aizliegtais paņēmiens” pilda savas pamatfunkcijas, apmierina auditorijas vēlmes un kalpo tās interesēm. Tiks noskaidrots, kāpēc auditorija to patērē un kas tiek sagaidīts no šī raidījuma. Darbs tiek balstīts uz teoriju par sabiedrisko televīziju, pētniecisko žurnālistiku un auditoriju. La renuencia de las iglesias cristianas -especialmente, la católica- a coexistir con cualquier orden profano autónomo, es un rasgo recurrente de la historia de Europa. El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar que tal renuencia no responde sólo a causas externas, sino que tiene un fundamento teológico en la concepción monoteísta del Dios cristiano. A tal efecto, se traza primero la genealogía histórica de esa teología, desde sus orígenes hasta el Medioevo, para presentar a continuación algunas versiones secularizadas del monoteísmo en la Modernidad, a las cuales se contraponen otras creaciones de la cultura moderna radicalmente laicas.
