Absence of the endo-beta-1,4-glucanases Cel1 and Cel2 reduces susceptibility to Botrytis cinerea in tomato.

Cel1 and Cel2 are members of the tomato (Solanum lycopersicum Mill) endo-beta-1,4-glucanase (EGase) family that may play a role in fruit ripening and organ abscission. This work demonstrates that Cel1 protein is present in other vegetative tissues and accumulates during leaf development. We recently reported the downregulation of both the Cel1 mRNA and protein upon fungal infection, suggesting the involvement of EGases in plant-pathogen interactions. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, ar kuru no līderības stiliem korelē narcisms un tā dimensijas. Pētījumā piedalījās 51 organizāciju vadītājs Latvijā, no kuriem 19 bija vīrieši un 32 sievietes. Respondentu vecuma diapazons – no 21 līdz 70 gadiem (M = 41,67, SD = 13,55). Lai iegūtu nepieciešamos datus, narcisma līmenis tika mērīts, izmantojot Narcistisko personības iezīmju aptauju “Narcissistic Personality Inventory” (NPI) un līderības stils tika noteikts ar “Līderības stila novērtējuma aptauju”. The current review summarizes recent advances in research on personality predictors of status attainment. In line with previous research, recent studies indicate that extraverted and narcissistic individuals tend to attain status in groups. Research on mediating processes includes a wide range of underlying motivational, behavioral, and interpersonal perception processes. Most generally speaking, those high in extraversion and narcissism attain status because they are more motivated to do so and thus display assertive behavior that makes them look competent. Two samples of high-density polyethylene with different molecular weight were processed in a batch mixer and the rheological and structural properties were investigated. In particular, the effect of different processing parameters and the eventual presence of different stabilizers were evaluated. Actually, two reactions may occur during processing: branching/crosslinking or chain scission. The results indicate that when the processing conditions promote a scarce mobility of the macromolecular chains (lower temperatures, lower mixing speed, and higher molecular weight), branching is more favored than chain scission.
