Questo articolo, prendendo l’avvio dalle suggestioni offerte dal recente pamphlet "History Manifesto" (2015) analizza la storia come fenomeno educativo. Confrontandosi con il presentismo attuale e con i nuovi orientamenti della storiografia, la memoria viene interpretata con un approccio storico che si sofferma criticamente da un lato sui programmi scolastici, dall’altro sul nuovo paradigma elaborato dalla ricerca storico-educativa nel corso del Novecento in Italia. The authors design and demonstrate a process for carrying out design science (DS) research in information systems and demonstrate use of the process to conduct research in two case studies. In the national legal system, the legal debate highlights a particular attention to the subject of the territorial government, with respect to which the fourth generation regional legislators have experimented with new tools and new legal models, enhancing the participation of citizens in decision-making processes. In this context, the codification of a "city law" is discussed which, in the analysis carried out, is deepened by verifying the contents of the regional disciplines compared, which demonstrate, also, the absence of adequate valorisation of cultural heritage in local public policies.
