Beyond “liberals” and “conservatives”: Complexity in ideology, moral intuitions, and worldview among Swedish voters

This research investigated the congruence between the ideologies of political parties and the ideological preferences (N = 1515), moral intuitions (N = 1048), and political values and worldviews (N = 1345) of diverse samples of Swedish adults who voted or intended to vote for the parties. Logistic regression analyses yielded support for a series of hypotheses about variations in ideology beyond the left-right division. W artykule zawarto teoretyczne rozważania dotyczące oceny zależności pomiędzy poziomami rywalizacji i wykluczenia, cechującymi elementy systemu transportowego, a spełnianiem postulatów transportowych stawianych przez użytkowników transportu osobowego. Przedstawiono przykłady różnych rodzajów dóbr tworzących systemy transportowe oraz możliwe oddziaływanie poziomów rywalizacji i wykluczenia na zaspokojenie oczekiwań użytkowników transportu. Radiation-sensitive gels are among the most recent and promising developments for radiation therapy (RT) dosimetry. RT dosimetry has the twofold goal of ensuring the quality of the treatment and the radiation protection of the patient. Benchmark dosimetry for acceptance testing and commissioning of RT systems is still based on ionization chambers. This article explores socially withdrawn young Finnish people on an Internet forum who identify with the Japanese hikikomori phenomenon. We aim to overcome the dualism between sociology and psychology found in earlier research by referring to Pierre Bourdieu, who provides insights into how individual choices are constructed in accordance with wider social settings. Relationship between trophic state and plankton community structure in 21 Sicilian dam reservoirs

The relationship between the trophic state of 21 Sicilian dam reservoirs and their taxonomic community structure of phytoplankton (87 taxa) as well as zooplankton (45 taxa) have been examined by means of cluster analysis performed using annual average biomass values. The phytoplankton community structure was closely connected with the trophic state of the reservoirs, whereas the zooplankton community structure was related to hydrological regimes peculiar to the individual water bodies and not to the trophic state. © 1994 Kluwer Academic Publishers.

W artykule główny nacisk położono na znaczenie rywalizacji i wykluczenia jako cech dóbr składających się na miejskie systemy transportowe w kształtowaniu atrakcyjności bardziej zrównoważonych sposobów przemieszczania się osób w miastach. Studia literaturowe oraz analiza porównawcza pozwoliły na przedstawienie instrumentów służących rozwojowi zrównoważonej mobilności miejskiej wraz z oczekiwanymi i potencjalnymi ich efektami.
