We have developed a new method to calculate the occupancies of single particle levels in atomic nuclei. This method has been developed in the context of the microscopic interacting boson model, in which neutron and proton degrees of freedom are treated explicitly. The energies of the single particle levels constitute a very important input for the calculation of the occupancies in this method. In principle these energies can be considered as input parameters that can be fitted to reproduce the experimental occupancies. Time resolved emission at 1.3 μm of a single InAs quantum dot by using a tunable fibre Bragg grating

Photoluminescence and time resolved photoluminescence from single metamorphic InAs/GaAs quantum dots (QDs) emitting at 1.3 mu m have been measured by means of a novel fibre-based characterization set-up. We demonstrate that the use of a wavelength tunable fibre Bragg grating filter increases the light collection efficiency by more than one order of magnitude as compared to a conventional grating monochromator. We identified single charged exciton and neutral biexciton transitions in the framework of a random population model. The relation between social identity and test anxiety in university students

Social identification has been shown to be a protective resource for mental health. In this study, the relationships between social identification and emotional, as well as cognitive symptoms of test anxiety are investigated. Participants were university students diagnosed with test anxiety ( N = 108). They completed questionnaires regarding a range of psychopathologic stress symptoms, and their social identification with fellow students and with their study program. Tähän etnografiseen tutkimukseen on haastateltu seitsemää pitopalveluosuuskunnan jäsentä Addis Abebassa, Etiopiassa. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan haastateltavien pääasiallisia puutteen ja huolen aiheita, ja heidän henkilökohtaisia selviytymisstrategioitaan urbaanissa köyhyydessä. Sähköisiä tietojärjestelmiä käytetään laajasti sosiaalityössä, mutta empiirisiä tutkimustuloksia niiden käytöstä ei ole vielä analysoitu ja levitetty. Tässä kartoittavassa kirjallisuuskatsauksessa tarkasteltiin vuosien 2000–2019 julkaistun 36 tutkimusartikkelin tuloksia selvittäen, mitkä teemat korostuivat tutkimuksissa sekä millaisia tutkimusaukkoja oli tunnistettavissa. Analyysin perusteella tunnistettiin neljä pääteemaa: (1) tietojärjestelmien käytön vaikutukset sosiaalityöhön; (2) tekijät, joilla on vaikutusta tietojärjestelmien käytössä; (3) sosiaalityöntekijöiden toimintatavat tietojärjestelmien käytössä ja (4) tietojärjestelmien kehittäminen sosiaalityöntekijöiden kanssa.
