A comparative study of the behaviour of silver, copper and nickel submitted to a constant high power flux density

2005

In this paper, we present a numerical simulation of three metal cathode (silver, copper and nickel) submitted to a constant flux power flux density ranging between and . The goal is to compare the interface evolution (vaporization and liquefaction rate, appearance time of liquid and vapour, energetic repartition) to predict the behaviour of the cathodes during an electric arc.

Zaburzenia metabolizmu miedzi w przebiegu choroby Wilsona

2022

Następuje gromadzenie pierwiastka we wnętrzu ko…

Inhibitoren der Korrosion 27 (1). Inhibitoren der Korrosion von Kupfer - Gibt es eine Struktur-Wirkungsbeziehung?

1982

Inhibitors of corrosion 27 (1). Inhibitors of the corrosion of copper Does there exist a structure-effect-relation? Over 570 compounds of greatly varying structure have been tested under controlled conditions in agitation and pH-stat experiments designed…

Structural diversity of copper(II) amino alcoholate complexes

2017

Abstract Amino alcohols which carry both amino and hydroxyl groups in the same molecule are good chelating and bridging ligands. They have been broadly used for the preparation of copper(II) amino alcoholate complexes through the self-assembly process, which generally leads to the formation of diverse structures from mononuclear to polynuclear copper(II) clusters. There are three main factors to control the nuclearity of these clusters: (i) the molar ratio of Cu(II) to amino alcohol, (ii) the choice of the counter anions and (iii) the nature of the amino alcohol. These structures can be used as model systems in magnetic studies, allowing a better understanding about the magnetic interaction…

Structural Studies on a New Family of Chiral BioMOFs

2016

The use of a family of dinuclear copper(II) complexes, prepared from enantiopure disubstituted oxamidato ligands derived from the natural amino acids l-alanine, l-valine, and l-leucine, as metalloligands toward barium(II) cations leads to the formation of three novel three-dimensional (3D) chiral metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). They exhibit different architectures, which serve as playground to study both how the chiral information contained in the starting enantiopure ligands is ultimately transmitted to the 3D structure and the effect of the size of the aliphatic residue of the amino acid on the final architecture.

Synthesis of new fluorescent amino acids with a triazolopyridine core: diacid sensors

2018

A new family of amino acid containing pyridine–triazolopyridine cores has been prepared by means of a copper catalysed reaction. These compounds exhibit an intense emission that has been employed to sense the distance between two carboxylic acids in a linear molecule, from oxalic to glutaric acids.

Understanding the mechanism and regioselectivity of the copper(i) catalyzed [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction between azide and alkyne: a systematic DFT…

2017

The copper(I) catalyzed azide–alkyne [3 + 2] cycloaddition (32CA) reaction and its uncatalyzed version have been studied for systematic understanding of this relevant organic transformation, using DFT calculations at the B3LYP/6-31G(d) (LANL2DZ for Cu) computational levels. In the absence of a copper(I) catalyst, two regioisomeric reaction paths were studied, indicating that the 32CA reaction takes place through an asynchronous one-step mechanism with a very low polar character. The two reactive channels leading to 1,4- and 1,5-regisomer present similar high activation energies of 18.84 and 18.51 kcal mol−1, respectively. The coordination of copper(I) to alkyne produces relevant changes in …
