The present article analyses the external and internal fixation of the binomial pattern [entre + NN] with zero article in Spanish and its equivalents in German. In particular, the article focuses on the expressions entre lágrimas/unter Tränen. The data have been extracted from the DeReKo corpus (Das Deutsche Referenzkorpus) and from the Sketch Engine corpora deTenTen 13 and eseuTenTen11. En els darrers trenta anys s’ha assolit un gran progrés com mostra l’increment de corpus multimodals existents i les diverses investigacions sofisticades que aquests corpus han estimulat sobre la relació entre el component verbal i no-verbal de la comunicació oral (Knight 2011). Linguistic evaluation has become an important area of inquiry in recent years. In the traditions of, e.g., lexical semantics, phraseology, corpus linguistics, and interactional linguistics, a large inventory of linguistic means have been identified by which speakers can express evaluative meanings. Getting rid of the Chi-square and Log-likelihood tests for analysing vocabulary differences between corpora

Log-likelihood and Chi-square tests are probably the most popular statistical tests used in corpus linguistics, especially when the research is aiming to describe the lexical variations between corpora. However, because this specific use of the Chi-square test is not valid, it produces far too many significant results. This paper explains the source of the problem (i.e., the non-independence of the observations), the reasons for which the usual solutions are not acceptable and which kinds of statistical test should be used instead. La norma desempeña un papel fundamental en el ámbito de la adquisición de las segundas lenguas (ASL), tanto en el proceso de aprendizaje-enseñanza que se desarrolla en el aula como en la investigación sobre la lengua de los aprendientes.
