Daļai no viņiem nepatīk darbības vārdu formas, dažus skolēnus neinteresē lielo burtu lietojums, prievārdi vai frazālie darbības vārdi, bet citiem grūtības sagādā laiki un vārdu kārtība teikumā. Var būt dažādi iemesli, kāpēc skolēniem nepatīk angļu valodas gramatika. Nav šaubu, ka daži no viņiem vienkārši negrib mācīties. Tas varētu būt arī sava veida protests, lai parādītu citiem, ka viņi var darīt, ko grib. Artykuł analizuje dwie formy, jakie przybiera motyw drzewa w cyklu powieściowym Émile’a Zoli Rougon-Macquartowie. Pierwszą z nich, którą można nazwać „społeczną”, jest drzewo genealogiczne postaci tworzących powieściową rodzinę; sporządzenie tego drzewa i przygotowanie szczegółowych informacji na temat każdego bohatera i jego losów poprzedziło rozpoczęcie pracy nad cyklem, co czyni z niego rodzaj pra-struktury całej serii. Drugą formą, w jakiej drzewo pojawia się w analizowanych tekstach, jest forma „naturalna”, związana z przyrodą (drzewo jako roślina) i nasycona symboliką dotykającą miłości i płodności. The article compares Rousseau’s and Wollstonecraft’s views on the imagination. It is argued that though Wollstonecraft was evidently influenced by Rousseau, there are significant differences between their views. These differences are grounded in their different views on the faculty of reason and its relation to the passions. Whereas Rousseau characterizes reason as a derivative faculty, grounded in the more primary faculty of perfectibility, Wollstonecraft perceives reason as the faculty defining human nature. Research in communication science highlights positive as well as negative effects of news and social media on learning but focuses predominantly on the largely unintended knowledge acquisition of the overall population. Research in educational science deals with students’ knowledge acquisition but is largely limited to formal learning such as in university courses.
