International audience; New Fe(II) coordination polymeric neutral chains of formula [Fe(aqin)2(μ2-M(CN)4)] (M = NiII (1) and PtII (2)) (aqin = Quinolin-8-amine) have been synthesized and characterized by infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and magnetic measurements. The crystal structure determinations of 1–2 reveal in both cases a one-dimensional structure in which the planar [M(CN)4]2– (M = NiII (1) and PtII (2)) anion acts as a μ2-bridging ligand, and the two aqin molecules as chelating coligands. This paper aims at clarifying a timely topic of how communication strategy choices are made in evolving, complex crises, such as those caused by terrorism involving chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) agents. This is done by examining data gathered from a table-top discussion among crisis communication experts, focusing on a scenario of an anthrax attack and analysed qualitatively. It suggests two intertwined policy measures in order to tackle the emergency phase of the crisis and to support the economy in the subsequent recovery phase. Risk Management for Sustainable Sovereign Debt Financing

We model sovereign debt sustainability with optimal financing decisions under macroeconomic, financial, and fiscal uncertainty, with endogenous risk and term premia. Using a coherent risk measure we trade-off debt stock and flow risks subject to sustainability constraints. We optimize static and dynamic financing strategies and demonstrate economically significant savings from optimal financing compared with simple rules and consols, and find that optimizing the trade-offs can be critical for sustainability. Egli fu un artista minore che concorse, assieme ai maggiori, a esplicitare sia il tessuto artistico e culturale, sia la dimensione spirituale e religiosa di un territorio poco indagato.
