Discrimination and Molecular Design of New Theoretical Hypolipaemic Agents Using the Molecular Connectivity Functions
2000
The molecular topology model and discriminant analysis have been applied to the prediction and QSAR interpretation of some pharmacological properties of hypolipaemic drugs using multivariable regression equations with their statistical parameters. Regression analysis showed that the molecular topology model predicts these properties. The corresponding stability (cross-validation) studies done on the selected prediction models confirmed the goodness of the fits. The method used for hypolipaemic activity selection was a linear discriminant analysis (LDA). We make use of the pharmacological distribution diagrams (PDDs) as a visualizing technique for the identification and design of new hypolip…

Manifestation of Curie-Weiss law for optical phase transition
2001
Considerable slowing down is observed for both the temporal development of the coherent oscillation slightly above the threshold and the refractive index grating decay slightly below the threshold for a semilinear photorefractive oscillator with two counter-propagating pump waves. It is shown that in the vicinity of the threshold the reciprocal characteristic time is a linear function of deviation from the threshold coupling strength. This behaviour is similar to an empirical Curie–Weiss law and points to the analogy of the oscillation threshold to a second-order phase transition.
Quasi-Continuous Vector Fields on RCD Spaces
2021
In the existing language for tensor calculus on RCD spaces, tensor fields are only defined $\mathfrak {m}$ -a.e.. In this paper we introduce the concept of tensor field defined ‘2-capacity-a.e.’ and discuss in which sense Sobolev vector fields have a 2-capacity-a.e. uniquely defined quasi-continuous representative.
LEMBAR KERJA PESERTA DIDIK (LKPD) BERBASIS PROBLEM SOLVING POLYA
2017
Lack of exact use of teaching materials and does not correspond to the needs of student leads to lack of analytical ability of students to the process of problem solving. Research development worksheets based on Polya problem solving on the heat material aims to develop valid LKPD, practical, and effective. Stages of development using the 4D model was modified into 3D, namely define (definition), Design (planning), and Development (development) The results of the validity of the learning device in the category valid, obtained from the calculation of CVI are in the range 0-1 and said in category reliably with r 11 value greater than r tabel (r count > r tabel ). The results of the analysis o…
Closed-Form Expressions for Global and Local Interpretation of Tsetlin Machines
2021
Tsetlin Machines (TMs) capture patterns using conjunctive clauses in propositional logic, thus facilitating interpretation. However, recent TM-based approaches mainly rely on inspecting the full range of clauses individually. Such inspection does not necessarily scale to complex prediction problems that require a large number of clauses. In this paper, we propose closed-form expressions for understanding why a TM model makes a specific prediction (local interpretability). Additionally, the expressions capture the most important features of the model overall (global interpretability). We further introduce expressions for measuring the importance of feature value ranges for continuous feature…
Suggestions to the Reader
1998
Each section of the book consists of two parts that have different goals. The first part, namely the text itself, is systematically developed. It consists of definitions and proven assertions assembled in an organized fashion and with no significant gaps for the reader to fill. All propositions and theorems, unless ready consequences of definitions and previously proven assertions, are proved in detail.
Can (noncommutative) geometry accommodate leptoquarks?
1997
We investigate the geometric interpretation of the Standard Model based on noncommutative geometry. Neglecting the $S_0$-reality symmetry one may introduce leptoquarks into the model. We give a detailed discussion of the consequences (both for the Connes-Lott and the spectral action) and compare the results with physical bounds. Our result is that in either case one contradicts the experimental results.
