El presente trabajo analiza la acción social desarrollada por los diarios católicos Abc y El Debate durante la II República española a propósito de las reformas aprobadas en el campo de la enseñanza. Para ello, se analizan las estrategias de enmarcado dominantes a partir del examen de 355 documentos, publicados entre 1931 y 1933. Los resultados muestran que el discurso de estos periódicos buscó promover la movilización social.
